Recent announcements about changes to the boards of directors of area organizations or involving local executives. Maureen McBride was appointed treasurer of the Pennsylvania Lawyers Fund for Client Security. Created by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the organization facilitates reimbursement to individuals whose lawyers have misappropriated their clients' money. Jill Rogers, litigation associate at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney P.C., Philadelphia, was named to the board of CASA of Philadelphia County, which recruits, screens, trains and supervises community volunteers who become sworn officers of the court.

Goodwill Industries of Delaware & Delaware County Inc., a Wilmington-based nonprofit human-services organization, elected Timothy Dishong to its board. He is partner and owner of Creative Image Associates.

Ellen Toplin was named first chair for the American Red Cross Blood Services, Penn-Jersey Region, Philadelphia. She is founder and president of Toplin & Associates Inc., a Fort Washington public-relations firm.

Crossroads of the American Revolution Association, Camden, a nonprofit cultural organization, appointed Judi London to its board. She is president of the South Jersey Tourism Corp., Camden.

The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia, Philadelphia, appointed Patrick Hardy, executive vice president and executive creative director at Tierney Communications, Philadelphia, to its board.

Wanda Flowers and Jill McCormack were named to the board of trustees at the Center for Literacy, Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization. Flowers is general counsel at Sunoco Inc., Philadelphia. McCormack is a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P., Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Theatre Company, a nonprofit professional theater, named six new board members: Neal A. Cupersmith, a founding partner of Seligman, Cupersmith, Wilensky & Co. L.L.P., Cherry Hill; David Bruce Duncan and Deana Pitcairn Duncan, owner-clients of Pitcairn Trust Co., Jenkintown; Rebecca Lewis, senior vice president of new business development for ExcelleRx Inc., Philadelphia; Thomas J. Maher, chief executive officer of Wachovia Maher Partners, Wayne; and Evelyn Fennell Smalls, president and chief executive officer of United Bank of Philadelphia.

The Paoli Hospital Foundation named Dennis Maple and Patricia Holloway to its board. Maple is president of the education division of Aramark Corp., Philadelphia. Holloway is development chair of BreastCancer.org.

Jonathan P. Warner, president of JP Warner Associates Inc., Wayne, was appointed to the Platt Caddie Scholarship board of trustees. The organization provides financial aid to caddies who pursue higher education.

The Fairmount Park Art Association, a nonprofit cultural organization, named Eugene Lefevre and Susan Weiler to its board. Lefevre is president of Rampart Holdings Inc., Philadelphia. Weiler is principal at Olin Partnership, Philadelphia.

George W. Broseman, a principal of the law firm of Kaplin Stewart, Blue Bell, was appointed to the board of the Elite Charitable Foundation, an Exton organization focused on the homeless.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Board named Stewart Cohen, a shareholder of Cohen, Placitella & Roth P.C., Philadelphia, to its board.

The Wissahickon Valley Water- shed Association, a nonprofit environmental organization in Ambler, named James E. Hasson, Timothy P. Hughes and John Rorer to its board. Hasson is president of Hypex Inc., Southampton. Hughes is president of Movers Specialty Services Inc., Montgomeryville. Rorer is the retired owner of Rorer's Market & Catering, Broad Axe.- Mike Zebe
