New lineup for table of local stocks
The Inquirer has updated the makeup of the daily Top 100 Local Stocks table that appears on Page C4 to reflect the change in the market value of companies based in the Philadelphia region.
The Inquirer has updated the makeup of the daily Top 100 Local Stocks table that appears on Page C4 to reflect the change in the market value of companies based in the Philadelphia region.
The list is based on market value as of June 30, and consists of companies based in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania; Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties in New Jersey; and New Castle County in Delaware. For example, the most valuable local company at the end of the second quarter was Comcast Corp., with a market value of $76.6 billion.
The following companies have been added to the table: Alesco Financial Trust, Atlas America Inc., Beijing Med-Pharm Corp., Bryn Mawr Bank Corp., Claymont Steel Holdings Inc., Dorman Products Inc., Fox Chase Bancorp Inc., K-Tron International Inc., Optium Corp., SunCom Wireless Holdings Inc. and Tyco Electronics Ltd.
