Recent announcements about changes to the boards of directors of area organizations or involving local executives.

TetraLogic Pharmaceuticals, a privately held Malvern biopharmaceutical company, appointed Andrew Pecora chairman of its board. He has spent the last 18 years in various capacities at Hackensack University Medical Center and currently is chairman and executive administrative director of the Cancer Center. He also is chairman and was a founder of Amorcyte Inc., Hackensack, and chairman and chief executive officer of Progenitor Cell Therapy L.L.C., Hackensack.

Teleflex Inc., a publicly held Limerick company that engineers medical and aerospace products, named Stephen K. Klasko to its board. He is senior vice president for health sciences and dean of the College of Medicine at the University of South Florida and chief executive officer of the University of South Florida Physicians Group.

CRI Worldwide Inc., a Clementon provider of clinical-research services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, named Peter H. Glick and Gwen H. Booth to its board. Glick is general partner at Ampersand Ventures Wellesley. Booth is senior vice president, operations, at Accelecare Wound Centers Inc., Bellevue.

Sunoco Inc., a Philadelphia oil refiner and marketer, elected Gary W. Edwards to its board. He is a consultant in the energy field. He retired in 2001 after a 38-year career with Conoco Inc. He is also a director of Entergy Corp. and Sunoco Partners L.L.C., the general partner of Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P.

Leslie Beth Baskin was named chair of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference, an association of lawyers, other professionals and paraprofessionals. She is chair of the Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Group at Spector Gadon & Rosen, P.C., Philadelphia.

Trisha Brambley was appointed vice chair of the U.S. Department of Labor's Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans for 2008, also known as the Employee Retirement Income Security Act Advisory (ERISA) Council. She is president and founder of Resources for Retirement Inc., Newtown, part of National Penn Bancshares Inc.

Fox Chase Bancorp Inc., Hatboro, the holding company for Fox Chase Bank, appointed RoseAnn B. Rosenthal to its board. She is president, chief executive officer, and a director of Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Art-Reach, a Philadelphia nonprofit organization that facilitates cultural experiences for people with disabilities and economic disadvantages, elected Jerilyn Keit Dressler to its board. She is a senior manager at Ernst & Young, Philadelphia.

Malvern Retreat House, a nonprofit, lay-owned Catholic retreat house, named the following members to its board:

Jane Treacy is a broadcaster and host at retailer QVC Inc., West Chester.

Joseph Capista is founder and senior dentist at Williamsburg Dental, Broomall.

Chet Zoltak, vice president of talent acquisition and management for Amerisource Bergen Corp., Chesterbrook, is president.

Marcia O'Connor, president of the O'Connor Group, King of Prussia, is vice president of committees.

Carol Krause, vice president of human resources for Nutrisystem Inc., King of Prussia, is vice president of operations.

Mindy Mazer and Patricia Schaeffer are cochairs of programs. Mazer is director of talent acquisition and development for Nutrisystem Inc., King of Prussia. Schaeffer is the founding principal of Talent Strategy Partners L.L.C. in Yardley.
