Breastcancer.org, an Ardmore nonprofit health-advocacy organization that provides information and peer support to those affected by breast cancer, appointed James M. Monastero to its board. He is a life-sciences industry managing director with AlixPartners.
Valentino DiGiorgio was elected to the board of the National Italian American Political Action Committee, a nationwide organization that promotes Italian American candidates for political office and appointed governmental positions and that supports legislation that affects the Italian American community. He is a co-chair in the Public Finance Practice Group at Stradley Ronon, Philadelphia.
Angel Flight East, a nonprofit organization based at Wings Field in Blue Bell composed of pilots who fly financially and medially needy people free of charge from Maine to the Carolinas and west to Ohio, named Mark Schulz to its board. He is a mortgage lender with Academy Mortgage Corp. and principal/owner of Jemcor Associates, Harleysville.
The Bucks County Women's Business Forum, a nonprofit support and mentoring organization for female entrepreneurs, named Pam Carroll vice president. A founding member of the group, she is owner and chief creative officer of Carroll Consulting Group, Jamison.

Sharon Simpson joined the board of the Philadelphia chapter of the Women's Business Development Center, which works to advance small-business initiatives, foster economic development, and create and retain jobs in low- and moderate-income areas. Simpson is manager of Peco's Energy Services Organization.
