Teva Respiratory, the North Wales unit of Israel's Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd., said it would donate $328,000 worth of Qvar to Direct Relief International in honor of World Asthma Day, which is today.
Direct Relief, a nonprofit based in Santa Barbara, Calif., will distribute the medication to economically disadvantaged and uninsured patients through the National Association of Community Health Centers and the National Association of Free Clinics.
