Universal Health Services Inc., the King of Prussia hospital company, said Marc Miller had been elected president of the company. Marc Miller is the son of UHS chairman and chief executive officer Alan Miller, who previously was president as well. Marc Miller has been co-head of the acute-care division since 2007.

Independence Blue Cross, the Philadelphia insurer, announced three personnel changes.

Alan Krigstein was named senior vice president and chief financial officer. He had been senior vice president of finance, chief financial officer, and treasurer at AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Cos.

John R. Janney Jr. was promoted to senior vice president of eBusiness and support services. He was the vice president of eBusiness and enrollment services.

Stephan R. Roker was promoted to senior vice president of operations. He had been the vice president of processing services.

The Arthritis Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, Philadelphia, named Carolyn Wisniewski as executive director. She had been at the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic, where she was regional vice president for the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley markets.

Agilence Inc., a Camden video-analysis-services company, said Ed Parks had been named vice president of engineering. Parks had been the vice president of engineering at Perfman, Bethlehem.

Woodbury Mews, a Woodbury retirement community, named Kelly O'Neill executive director. O'Neill most recently was the administrator for Manor Care in Deptford.

ING, a global financial-services giant, said it hired Michael Smith as chief financial officer and chief insurance risk officer for its annuity business in the United States. He will be based in West Chester. Smith had been at Lincoln National Corp., of Radnor, where he headed profitability and risk management for Lincoln Retirement Solutions.

Campbell Soup Co. named Jennifer Driscoll vice president of investor relations. She had the same job at Best Buy Co. Inc.

Episcopal Community Services, Philadelphia, named Kim A. Shiley director of development and communications. Shiley had been director of development for Living Beyond Breast Cancer in Haverford.

Kevin Keith was named director of business development at the Robinson Group, a Newtown Square IT recruiting firm providing permanent employees, contract consultants, and project resources. Keith had been director of sales with Idea Integration.

QVC Inc., the West Chester retailer, said Rosetta Gyimesi had joined the company as vice president of application services. She had been vice president and senior information officer at American International Group Inc.
