Mt. Airy USA, a nonprofit community-development corporation, has appointed three new members to three-year terms on its board:

Attorney Anuj Gupta works in the Office of the Managing Director for the City of Philadelphia as the deputy director for performance management.

Sylvie Renee Gallier Howard is an independent consultant for various nonprofit groups and foundations and has worked for the City of Philadelphia to develop a framework for its Small Business Loan Guarantee Fund.

Clifton C. Jones is director of operations for New Covenant Church and Campus in Mount Airy.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Montgomery County, a Blue Bell nonprofit group that promotes volunteerism among area residents age 55 and older, has named the following to its board:

Anne M. Frank is library director at the Wissahickon Valley Public Library.

Robert Leib is president and founder of Keystone Wealth Management, Conshohocken.

Richard Singer is a consultant to national companies using his experience as a financial manager and business analyst.

Sunshine Foundation, a Bucks County organization that offers trips and help to critically ill children and their families, has named John J. Mavrakis and Michael J. Sacks to its national board. Mavrakis is president and chief operating officer of Kathy Davis Studios Inc., Ambler. Sacks is director, communications and client services with Kimmel & Silverman P.C., Cherry Hill.

Ken Oakes, a special-education consultant, has been elected president of the board of The Arc of Philadelphia, a nonprofit advocacy and vocational training organization. He also serves on the Governor's Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities and on the board of the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania.

Symphony in C, Camden, a professional training and performance orchestra providing career-development services for orchestral musicians, has elected Robert R. Kugler chairman. He is a partner with the law firm of Archer & Greiner P.C., Haddonfield and Philadelphia, concentrating his practice on complex lending transactions, and has been on the board of the nonprofit for 18 years.

Community Treatment Solutions (CTS), a private Moorestown nonprofit agency that provides care for children and adolescents including family reunification, treatment foster care, residential, and functional family therapy, has named Laura Bishop and Gary A. Farnesi to its board. Bishop is vice president of Moorestown-based Thomas/Boyd Communications. Farnesi is assistant vice president and relationship manager, commercial lending for Susquehanna Bank, Lititz, and is based in its Camden office.
