On the Boards

The Association for Corporate Growth Philadelphia, which focuses on professionals involved in corporate growth and mergers and acquisitions, has named Jason Rabbino president. He is managing director global operations for Tyco International/ADT Worldwide, Princeton and Boca Raton, and was vice president of strategic development for Aramark Corp., Philadelphia. He will serve a two-year term and succeeds Richard Jaffe, a partner at Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll L.L.P., Philadelphia.

Geoff Veale is vice president at Milestone Partners.

Leo Helmers is managing director at The Carlyle Group and co-head of Carlyle Mezzanine Partners L.P.

Don Kligerman has been elected president of the Philadelphia Parks Alliance, an independent nonprofit group that educates the public and advocates for parks in Philadelphia. He is the founding president of Fairmount Ventures Inc., Philadelphia.

Karen Lloyd Borski is an administrator for Borski Associates L.L.C., Philadelphia, and a former commissioner of Fairmount Park.

Tracey H. Giang is a senior associate with The Food Trust, a Philadelphia nonprofit group that strives to make healthful food available to all.

William F. Haggett is chief marketing executive of Independence Blue Cross, Philadelphia.

Jairius S. McClendon is vice president and relationship manager in Wachovia's Wealth Management Private Banking Group in Philadelphia.

Michael A. Walker is principal of The Walker Agency L.L.C., Collegeville.

Cabrini College, Radnor, has named Frank Emmerich Jr. and Roland Yoshida to its board of trustees. Emmerich is a partner and serves on the executive committee at Conrad O'Brien P.C., Philadelphia. Yoshida teaches doctoral students in the educational-leadership program at Lehigh University and helps develop most of the dissertation proposals in the program.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation, a Blue Bell nonprofit group that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, has named the following members to its board:
