Daleco Resources Corp. of West Chester said today it has received final federal approval to begin digging for mineral ore in the Gila National Forest in Sierra County, New Mexico.

The Sierra Kaolin Open Clay Mine Project, a joint project with Tecumseh Professional Associates, was given the OK by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service. That completes a 21-month regulatory review, Daleco said.

Minerals and other materials extracted at the 2,720-acre site will be used by the paper, paint, ceramic and cement industries.

Daleco is a resource company involved in oil and gas, minerals, and environmental remediation technology.    - Paul Schweizer
