Fibrocell Science Inc., an Exton biotechnology company focused on the development of regenerative cell therapy, has appointed Marc B. Mazur to its board. Mazur is the chairman of Elsworthy Capital Management Ltd., a London-based European equity hedge fund, and was the CEO of Brevan Howard U.S. Asset Management, the U.S. arm of London-based Brevan Howard, Europe's largest hedge fund.

Thomas A. D'Amico was appointed chairman of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, a Fort Washington not-for-profit alliance of 21 leading cancer centers. D'Amico is director of clinical oncology, program director of thoracic surgery, and professor in the department of surgery at Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center.

IBio Inc., a Newark, Del., biopharmaceutical company, named Pamela Bassett to its board. She is managing director of life sciences Research at Cantor Fitzgerald & Co.

Stephen D. Steinour was named to the board of Liberty Property Trust, the Malvern commercial real estate company. He is president and CEO of Huntington Bancshares Inc.

The Fairmount Park Conservancy, which raises funds to help the city manage 9,200 acres in 63 parks throughout Philadelphia, named John K. Binswanger chairman and John Gattuso president of its board. Binswanger is a founding member of the conservancy and chairman of Binswanger Corp., Philadelphia. Gattuso is senior vice president and regional director, urban and national region at Liberty Property Trust.

Carol S. Eicher is treasurer and chair of the finance committee and global business director, Performance Monomers, at Dow Chemical Co.

Sandra W. Weckesser is secretary.

Joseph Manko, partner at Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox L.L.P., is chair, nominating and governance committee.

Laura Shell is chair of the planning committee.

John B. Kelly 3d, managing director, public finance, at PNC Capital Advisors, is chair, development committee.

The Southeast PA Chapter Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship Trust Fund, a nonprofit construction craft training center in Harleysville, named the following officers and members to its board of trustees:

Robert T. Heck, vice president of Thompson Masonry Contracting Co., Pottstown, is chairman.

James R. Happ is president of Happ Contractors Inc., Doylestown.

Thomas Zipfel is general counsel at Worth & Co. Inc., Pipersville.

Vernon Reisinger is owner of Donald E. Reisinger Inc., West Chester.

Chris Kalbach is manager of field personnel safety and training at E. Allen Reeves Inc., Abington.

Ron Bauguess, general manager, Tri-M Group L.L.C., Kennett Square, is special adviser to the board.

Bill Salmon is vice president of Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc., King of Prussia.

Sandro Corrado is vice president of Corrado & Sons Inc., Souderton.

The Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a nonprofit breast cancer advocacy organization, elected Lisa Wollan vice president and Barbara A. Orr secretary. Wollan is head of consumer insights and brand strategy at Wawa Inc. Orr is executive vice president of Poretta & Orr Inc.

Three new members were named to the board:

Tangee E. Gibson is senior vice president, North America food hospitality and facility services, for Aramark Corp., Philadelphia.

Sue Schick is CEO of UnitedHealthcare of Pennsylvania.

Ronald Morris is managing member of Innovative Financial Services L.L.C.

Attorney Marc A. Rollo was elected to the board of Archer & Greiner P.C., a Haddonfield and Philadelphia law firm. He is chair of the firm's Petroleum Industry Practices Group.

The American Revolution Center, Philadelphia, named John B. Adams Jr., Stephen H. Case, and Louise V. Oliver to its board. Adams is president, CEO, and director of Bowman Cos., Fredericksburg. Case is the managing director and general counsel at Emerald Development Managers L.P. Oliver was the permanent representative of the United States to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization from 2004 to 2009.

The Historical Society of Pennsylvania named Timothy R. Schantz to its board. He is director of the Mountbatten Institute in North America, New York.

Brian P. Seaman was elected to the board of the Wilma Theater, a nonprofit cultural organization. He is an associate in the litigation practice group at Stradley Ronon.
