Gabriel Holdsman has been named vice president, general counsel U.S. for BTG International Inc., a specialty-pharmaceutical company with U.S. headquarters in Conshohocken. Holdsman had been associate general counsel for Auxilium Pharmaceuticals Inc., Malvern.

The Center for Autism, a nonprofit autism treatment and evaluation center in Philadelphia, said David St. Clair had been appointed to interim executive director. St. Clair is the retired chief executive officer and founder of MEDecision Inc. and the vice chairman of the center's board of directors.

Republic First Bancorp Inc., Philadelphia, has hired Tracie Young as senior vice president and chief risk officer. Young had been director of internal audit and director of risk management at Harleysville National Bank & Trust Co.

The board of directors of the Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Delaware Minority Supplier Development Council said Wade Colclough had been named president. Colclough had held positions with Peco Energy Co. and Philadelphia Gas Works.

The University City Science Center has promoted Christopher J. Laing to vice president, science and technology. Laing joined the staff as director of science and technology in 2006.

Fernley & Fernley Inc. said Kyle James Fernley had joined the Philadelphia firm as a fifth-generation member. He has a dual role as associate account director as well as director of Premier Meeting Solutions, a meetings-management company owned by the firm. He previously worked for another association-management company in the Washington area.

BPG Properties, a Philadelphia private-equity real estate fund manager, said Joseph G. Nahas Jr. had been appointed vice president of institutional marketing and investor relations. Nahas had been vice president of dispositions, where he oversaw real estate sales activity for BPG.
