Susquehanna Bank, Lancaster, has hired Linda Kunze as vice president and residential mortgage sales manager for central and eastern Pennsylvania. Kunze had been senior vice president of operations for Prudential Fox & Roach/The Trident Group.

Johnson Matthey Inc.'s Stationary Emissions Control unit in Malvern has named Michael Baran eastern sales manager. Baran had been an account manager for Hoeganaes Corp., Cinnaminson.

Robert V. Kyle III has joined Citi Private Bank as director and investment counselor in Philadelphia. Kyle had been a wealth-portfolio manager with Well Fargo Private Bank.

Edmunds Communications Group, Moorestown, said John Romano had been appointed vice president of sales. He previously worked at Workflow One.

National Penn Bank has named Scott R. Gamble president of its southern region, which covers 25 branches in Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester Counties. Gamble had been senior vice president, regional credit manager, and regional sales manager for Sovereign/Santander Bank.

Sean Domineske has been hired as vice president of corporate systems by Harleysville Insurance, Harleysville. Domineske had been a consultant with Ace Ltd., Philadelphia.

Stefanie Arck has been named vice president, strategic communications at Opportunity Finance Network, a Philadelphia network of community-development financial institutions to help lower-income people. She had been manager of marketing and communications at the Brooklyn Public Library in New York.

PHH Corp., Mount Laurel, has named Smriti Laxman Popenoe executive vice president and chief risk officer effective Sept. 13. Popenoe has been a principal at TriSim Inc., a fixed-income advisory firm in Washington.

JerusalemOnlineU.com, a portal for distance learning on Jewish and Israeli studies, has named Philadelphia resident Amy Holtz president. Holtz previously owned and operated a chain of 25 franchised Party City stores. She also had been a lawyer at Blank Rome L.L.P., Philadelphia.

Old City District said Graham Copeland had been appointed executive director of the Center City organization. Before joining the District, Copeland had been executive director of Highland Park, N.J.'s Main Street downtown revitalization program.

Fox Chase Bank and its holding company, Fox Chase Bancorp Inc., Hatboro, said Frank Scanlon had been named senior vice president, head of business banking, based in West Chester. Scanlon previously worked for Sovereign Bank as a senior vice president, market manager.
