UGI to invest $300M in Marcellus Shale projects

UGI Corp., of King of Prussia, said today in a news release that it planned to invest $300 million over the next two years on projects to support the development of natural gas infrastructure in the Marcellus Shale region. Among the investments are the agreement between midstream and energy marketing unit UGI Energy Services Inc. and NiSource Gas Transmission & Storage to market and develop a major pipeline project to help Marcellus Shale producers in Pennsylvania.    - Inquirer staff
