Kef Kasdin is general partner at Battelle Ventures and Innovation Valley Partners and chief executive officer of Proterro Inc. She previously held a variety of executive positions at Sarnoff Corp. and 3Com Corp.
Anil Kothari is senior vice president of sales and business development for ICG Commerce Inc., King of Prussia.
Ashley A. McEvoy is worldwide president of Ethicon Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company.
Stanley W. Silverman is president of Horizon Venture Group L.L.C.
Stephen T. Zarrilli is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Safeguard Scientifics Inc., Wayne, and the nonexecutive chairman of the Penn Valley Group, which he founded.
Stradley, Ronon, Stevens & Young L.L.P., the Philadelphia law firm, has elected Linda Ann Galante and Barbara Nugent to a three-year term on its board of directors. Galante is a member of the firm's business department. Nugent is a partner in the firm's investment management/mutual funds practice group.
Additionally, William R. Sasso was reelected chairman for a three-year term. He is also chairman of the firm's Management Committee.
The Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, a regional nonprofit public-policy organization, has elected Caroline H. West chairwoman of its board. She is senior vice president, chief compliance and risk officer at Shire Pharmaceuticals Inc., Wayne.
Rick Altman, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Radian Group Inc., Philadelphia, was elected vice chairman.

Douglas R. Sayer has been elected president of the 2011 board of the TriState Realtors Commercial Alliance, an organization of nearly 1,000 real estate brokers specializing in office, industrial, retail, and investment properties. He is president and CEO of Colliers International, Philadelphia.
The Feasterville Business Association has appointed Dennis I. Markowitz president. He succeeds Katrina Piotroski, assistant vice president, training officer of Third Federal Bank. Markowitz is founder and chief operating officer of the Financial Group Plus Inc. family of companies, Southampton.
