PITTSBURGH - The company that owns Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh says the cooking school will close in the middle of next year, once its current crop of students graduates.
The school opened in Pittsburgh in 1986 when it was known as the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.
Career Education Corp. of Hoffman Estates, Ill. owns the school, which also has an online version and 15 others in cities across the country.
KDKA-TV, which first reported the closing, says none of the other schools is closing.
