James R. Bowers is vice president of the Hay Group.
Noel Eisenstat is owner of Noel Eisenstat L.L.P.
Leo Holt is CEO of Holt Logistics.
David Miller is CEO of JG Wentworth.
David C. Webster is vice president of communications and public affairs at Sunoco Inc.
Friends of Rittenhouse Square, a nonprofit citizens group that works in a public-private partnership with Fairmount Park and the Philadelphia Department of Parks & Recreation to maintain Rittenhouse Square, elected Elizabeth Hummel president. She is vice president at Metropolitan Reporting Bureau in Center City. She replaces Wendy Rosen, who stepped down after 16 years.

Leslie Bari is cofounder, owner, and executive vice president of the Constitutional Walking Tour and Spirits of '76 Ghost Tour of Philadelphia.
Janice Birenbaum is vice president of RAIT Financial Trust.
Robert Dworski is CEO of Robert William L.L.C.
Derek Freres is a doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School for Communication.
Arielle Gottlieb is director of marketing and operations for Allan Domb Real Estate.
Herbert Kaplan is a retired professor of Eastern European studies and president of the 220 Rittenhouse Square Association.
Bernard J. Kelley was president of the Merck Manufacturing Division and is president of his Rittenhouse Square condo council.
Linda Galinsky Kirshner is CEO and cofounder of Coffee Serv Inc. and co-owner of Coffeeforless.com.
William Lederer is a court administrator with the Pennsylvania state court system.
Leon Levy is founder of Leon L. Levy & Associates.
Matthew Perks is chief of the Private Criminal Complaint Unit at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.
Lisa Beth Popowich is president and owner of Think Tank Inc.
David Schwartz is co-owner of Sophy Curson.
Harris J. Sklar is principal of the law offices of Harris J. Sklar and a former Philadelphia assistant district attorney.
Valerie Wilcox is a partner in project development for Plannerzone Inc.
Mike Gerber was elected chair of the board of governors of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties, a nonprofit organization. He succeeds Bob Groody, who was chair for four years. Gerber is owner of MGG Enterprise Paper & Janitorial Supplies.
Catholic Health East, Newtown Square, appointed Dennis A. Fitzpatrick chair of its board. He is president of the O'Connell Cos., Holyoke, Mass. William J. Byron was named to the board. He is a professor of business and society at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
Villanova University elected Terence M. O'Toole chair of its board of trustees, to succeed Herbert F. Aspbury. O'Toole is a comanaging partner of Tinicum Inc., a private investment partnership based in New York City. Catherine M. Keating was named vice chair. She is CEO of U.S. Private Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
The university also elected five board members:
Peter L. Fong is president of Carmoza L.L.C., an auto transport company, and was former president and CEO of the Chrysler brand for Chrysler Group L.L.C.
Justin G. Gmelich is head of the U.S. Credit Trading Group and Mortgage Trading in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division for Goldman Sachs in New York.
Sheila F. Klehm is executive director in the Private Wealth Management division at Morgan Stanley.
Patrick G. LePore is chairman, CEO, and president of Par Pharmaceutical Cos. Inc.
Joseph L. Narog is pastor of St. Thomas of Villanova Parish.
Michael C. Gross, a partner with the environmental and energy law firm of Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox L.L.P., was appointed to a four-year term on the Lower Merion Township Environmental Advisory Council.
Rocco R. Vespe was named president of the Construction Management Association of America and inducted into the association's College of Fellows. Vespe was one of only three construction executives to receive this 2010 honor. He is a director with Trauner Consulting Services.
Art-Reach, a nonprofit Philadelphia organization that makes cultural experiences more accessible to people with disabilities and economic disadvantages, elected Christine Rouse to its board. She is executive director of Acting Without Boundaries, Bryn Mawr.
The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, a trade/professional association, named Guy A. Matteo president. He is an associate broker with RE/MAX Preferred in Newtown Square and has been a Realtor for 26 years.
Kathy Kolesk and Deborah Shuff were elected to the board of trustees of the Alice Paul Institute, a nonprofit Mount Laurel organization that educates the public about New Jersey suffragist Alice Stokes Paul. Kolesk is a teacher in the Mount Laurel School District. Shuff is an associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath L.L.P., Philadelphia, where she practices civil law.
Katayun I. Jaffari was appointed chair of the Small Business Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Business Section. She is a partner in the Business and Finance Department at Saul Ewing L.L.P., Philadelphia, and chair of the Corporate Governance Practice Group and co-chair of the Securities Transactions and Regulations Practice Group.
Michael L. Kleiman, a founding member of Bleczinski, Kleiman & Klein L.L.C., King of Prussia, was elected to the Montgomery County Bar Association board for a three-year term. Kleiman focuses his practice on family law.
