AmeriGas Propane Inc., the Valley Forge general partner of AmeriGas Partners L.P., said Jerry E. Sheridan had been elected vice president and chief operating officer. Sheridan joined AmeriGas in 2005 as vice president and chief financial officer.

John S. Iannarelli was named Sheridan's successor as vice president and chief financial officer. Iannarelli most recently was vice president, field operations, north.

Steven A. Samuel was elected vice president and general counsel, succeeding Robert H. Knauss, who announced he would retire from AmeriGas and UGI Corp., a part owner of AmeriGas, in the spring of 2012. Samuel was elected vice president and associate general counsel in 2008.

Philadelphia Media Network Inc., owner and publisher of The Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News, and Philly.com, announced that Guy "Doc" Holliday would join the company as chief revenue officer. Most recently, Holliday was vice president of ad sales for DealOn, a Groupon e-commerce competitor.

Activant Solutions Inc. has named David Getty vice president of product development for its wholesale-distribution division. The Livermore, Calif., provider of enterprise resource-planning software for distributors and specialty retailers has operations in Yardley. Getty was senior director of product engineering and development.

Publicis Touchpoint Solutions, Yardley, said Doug Young had been appointed vice president of its Touchpoint Clinical Solutions center of excellence. The company specializes in clinical health educator programs and other services for the life-sciences industry. Young most recently was vice president of global medical affairs and the leader of the Global Field Medical Center of Excellence at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.

Delaware Investments, Philadelphia, said Aiden J. Redmond Jr. had joined the firm as senior vice president to lead its U.S. institutional business. He worked for 17 years at BlackRock Financial Management Inc. and Merrill Lynch Investment Management Inc. as a managing director for institutional sales and client service.

Carolyn Patton has been appointed global head of client relationships at Turner Investment Partners Inc., a Berwyn investment-management firm. Patton most recently was senior vice president, managing director, and global head of consultant relations at Janus Capital Group Inc., Denver.

Dan Malloy has been named a vice president of Yerkes Associates Inc., a West Chester company that provides engineering and other services. He has been Radnor Township engineer.

CHI Institute's Broomall campus has appointed Adrienne Scott the school's new executive director. The school is part of Kaplan Higher Education. Scott most recently was the director of operations at Thompson Institute.

Grosvenor Investment Management of Philadelphia has promoted five people on its professional staff to management positions:

Eric Cannon has been promoted from associate director, acquisitions to director, acquisitions.

Jill Sommer and Irina Pistolet have been promoted from associate, asset management to associate directors, asset management.

Serge Fanning has been promoted from associate, acquisitions to associate director, acquisitions.

Francis Coyne has been promoted from analyst, asset management to senior analyst, asset management.

American Executive Centers Inc., which provides offices and other support to businesses in the Philadelphia area, has promoted Raquel Spatzier from manager of business services to manager of technology and business services. Spatzier will be responsible for the company's IT department, and she will continue to manage all areas of business support services for the company's seven locations.
