Roger N. Huggins has been named first vice chairman of the board of the Chester County Economic Development Council, a private Exton nonprofit organization. He also serves on the executive committee, is chairman of the human resources committee, and sits on an SBA 504 loan committee. Huggins is a lawyer at Gawthrop Greenwood P.C.

Globus Medical Inc., a privately held maker of spinal implants in Audubon, Montgomery County, has appointed Ann D. Rhoads to its board. She will also be a member of the Audit Committee. Rhoads is executive vice president, chief financial officer, treasurer, and secretary for Zogenix Inc., a pharmaceutical company.

The Support Center for Child Advocates, a Philadelphia pro bono legal organization that represents children who are abused, neglected, or abandoned, has elected Kathleen T. Egan to its board. She is associate general counsel with Radian Group Inc., Philadelphia.

Aqua America Inc., the Bryn Mawr water and wastewater utility holding company, has named Wendell F. Holland to its board. He is a lawyer at Saul Ewing L.L.P.

Stephen W. Wouch has been installed as vice president of Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania, a Horsham nonprofit health advocacy organization. He is managing partner of Wouch, Maloney & Co. L.L.P.

The Abraham Lincoln Foundation of the Union League of Philadelphia, the foundation that oversees the art and artifact collections of the Union League and their use in historical and cultural education programs in the community, has elected the following members to its board of trustees:

Charles Croce, executive director and chief executive officer of the Philadelphia History Museum at the Atwater Kent.

Joyce S. Sando, a civic leader and philanthropist.

H. Carton Rogers, vice provost and director of libraries at the University of Pennsylvania.

James Matour, shareholder and chairman of the bankruptcy group at Hangley, Aronchick, Segal & Pudlin P.C., Philadelphia.

Mark Alderman has been appointed to the board of directors for the NASDAQ OMX Futures Exchange Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. He is cochairman at Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cozen O'Connor.

Scott Slomowitz has been elected to the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Helicopter Society. Slomowitz is a partner in the law firm Caesar, Rivise, Bernstein, Cohen & Pokotilow Ltd.

St. Joseph's University's board of trustees has elected Robert D. Falese chairman. Falese is the former president and CEO of Commerce Bank in Cherry Hill. He succeeds Paul J. Hondros, president and CEO of AlphaOne Capital Partners L.L.C.

The Philadelphia Foundation, a nonprofit community foundation that provides grants and scholarships to Southeastern Pennsylvania nonprofit groups, has named N. Nina Ahmad to its board of managers. She is president of PrymeJenomix L.L.C.

Mary West Young has been named to the board of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley, a nonprofit organization that assists people and communities with consumer-credit education, counseling, asset building, and debt-reduction programs. She is vice president for Networking Consultants & Associates L.L.C., Malvern.

William A. Stock, a founding partner of Klasko, Rulon, Stock & Seltzer L.L.P., Philadelphia, has been elected secretary of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, a nonprofit professional association.

Roberta Torian has been named chairman of the American Bar Association's International Subcommittee of the Consumer Financial Services Committee. She is a lawyer at Reed Smith L.L.P.
