Peter S. Bodenheimer, senior vice president of Boenning & Scattergood Inc., West Conshohocken, is chairman.
George J. Vergis, former president and chief executive officer of Neose Technologies Inc., is vice chairman.
Alice DeVoe, a lawyer with DeVoe & DeVoe Esqs. L.L.C., New Brunswick, N.J., is secretary.
Henry V. Sciortino, executive director of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority for Cities of the Second Class, Pittsburgh, and chief operating officer of Capitol Ideas Inc., is treasurer.
Unisys Corp., the Blue Bell information-technology company, has elected Alison Davis to its board and appointed her to the finance committee. Davis was managing partner of Belvedere Capital Partners Inc. and chief financial officer and director of corporate development for Barclays Global Investors N.A.
Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Blue Bell developer of vaccines against cancers and infectious diseases, said Avtar Dhillon had become nonexecutive chairman of the board. Dhillon had been appointed as executive chairman in 2009 in conjunction with the merger of Inovio Biomedical Corp. and VGX Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Leo A. Holt has been elected chairman of the board of trustees at The Jackson Laboratory, a biomedical-research institution and National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center in Bar Harbor, Maine. He replaces New York investment executive Brian Wruble. Holt is president of Holt Logistics Corp., a marine terminal and logistics-systems developer and operator, with facilities in Philadelphia and Gloucester City.
Lynn C. Jones, president of Christiana Care Visiting Nurse Association, has been named chairman of the board of the Visiting Nurse Associations of America, a nonprofit professional association.
PPL Corp., the Allentown utility and energy company, has appointed Venkata Rajamannar Madabhushi to its board. He is senior vice president and chief innovation and marketing officer for Humana Inc.
William S. Weintraub, the John H. Ammon chair of cardiology and director of Christiana Care Center for Outcomes Research, has been named president-elect of the American Heart Association Great Rivers Affiliate.
The Nuclear Energy Institute, a nonprofit policy organization of the nuclear energy and technologies industry, has named Michael P. McMahon to its board. He is president of the engineering, construction, and maintenance group of Day & Zimmermann, Philadelphia, and was president of the company's power services business.
Kensey Nash Corp., an Exton maker of medical devices, has named Lisa Earnhardt to its board. She is president and chief executive officer of Intersect ENT Inc., a venture-backed medical-device company. She had been president of Boston Scientific Corp.'s cardiac-surgery division.
Ballard Spahr L.L.P. litigation associate Keith B. Joseph has been elected to a two-year term on the board of the Equality Forum Inc., a Philadelphia nonprofit group that works to advance lesbian, bisexual, and transgender civil rights through education.

The Wilma Theater, a nonprofit cultural organization, has elected David U'Prichard as chairman of the board. U'Prichard is president of Druid Consulting L.L.C., a Philadelphia-based pharmaceutical and biotechnology consulting firm.

Frank X. Powers has been elected to the board of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, a nonprofit group that runs training programs for business and public-sector leaders in the region to work on behalf of the community. Powers is president of Dudnyk, a Horsham advertising agency.
Delaware pulmonologist Albert A. Rizzo has been named the national volunteer chairman of the American Lung Association board of directors, Washington. Rizzo is chief of the pulmonary and critical care medicine section at Christiana Care Health System, and is managing partner and medical director of the Lung Health and Sleep Enhancement Center at Pulmonary Associates.
Steven K. Mignogna has been appointed vice chairman of the litigation, ethics and malpractice group of the American Bar Association. He is a partner in the Haddonfield office of Archer & Greiner P.C. and is chairman of the firm's estate and trust litigation practice. - Mike Zebe
