Kellye Walker, chief administrative officer and general counsel at American Water Works Co. Inc.
Michele Lawrence, senior vice president and community-banking president at Wells Fargo & Co.
Arnold Johnson, senior vice president for Bank of America Corp.
Robert Strouse, president of Wind River Holdings L.P.
Michael Pearson, president of Union Packaging L.L.C.
Maulin Vidwans, a partner of White & Williams L.L.P.'s real estate and finance practice groups, has been appointed a trustee of the Walnut Street Theatre, a Philadelphia cultural institution.
Barry Pelagatti, a partner in the financial-institutions practice at ParenteBeard L.L.C. and a member of the firm's board of directors, has been appointed to the AICPA Depository and Lending Institutions Expert Panel, an accounting-standards and best-practices committee.
Galleon Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Horsham company that focuses on breathing-control disorders, has elected Thomas J. Dietz chairman. Dietz is chairman and chief executive officer of Waypoint Holdings L.L.C., a financial holdings and services company.
Philadelphia Theatre Co., a regional theater company, has elected David L. Colman to its board. He is a principal of MIS Capital L.L.C., a real estate development firm.
Geoffrey D. Bruen has been appointed to the board of the Gay and Lesbian Lawyers of Philadelphia, which seeks to cultivate a community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender lawyers. Bruen is a litigation associate at Ballard Spahr L.L.P. and was an assistant city solicitor in the City of Philadelphia's Labor and Employment unit.
Sunshine Foundation, a nonprofit children's charity, has named Renee Bergmann to its national board of directors. Bergmann is of counsel at Becker Meisel Attorneys at Law.
The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation, a King of Prussia nonprofit organization dedicated to improving child care, has appointed Lee-Ann Landis to its board. Landis is a media-relations representative at Jefferson University Hospital.
Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education, the Philadelphia nonprofit group, has elected Robert S. Davis to its board. He is a partner in the real estate practice group at Saul Ewing L.L.P.
Graham Co., a Philadelphia insurance and employee-benefits broker, has elected Frances Graham to its board and management committee. Graham, who has been involved with the company for more than 35 years, was recently elected chairperson of Moore College.
Friends' Central School, an independent Quaker school in Wynnewood, said three new members joined its board of trustees: Carolyn Cohen is a textile artist. Kent Julye is the principal of Twin Anvil Consultants. James Murdock is the owner of Endless Pools Inc., Aston. In addition, Ann Satterthwaite stepped down after serving as clerk of the board for seven years. She will continue to be a board member. James Wright will continue to serve as clerk for the 2011-12 year. He is the William R. Kenan Jr. Chair of the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology at Bryn Mawr College. Hillard Madway was named trustee emeritus. He recently retired as the owner of Ridge Pike Building Materials Inc., Conshohocken.
Bancroft, a Haddonfield nonprofit organization that serves people with neurological challenges, has named Scott Bannett and Kenneth Ewell to its board. Bannett is president of The Bannett Group Ltd., Cherry Hill. Ewell is executive vice president and a principal of The Graham Co., Philadelphia.
Campus Philly, the nonprofit organization that tries to connect employers with students at area colleges, has appointed Jeanne Mell to its board. She is the vice president of marketing communications and community development at the University City Science Center.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit group that raises money to find a cure for cancer, has appointed Marc Bruno to its board. He is president of Aramark Sports & Entertainment.
Woodmere Art Museum in Chestnut Hill has named John Affleck president of its board of trustees, succeeding Dianne A. Meyer, a partner at Duane Morris L.L.P. Affleck is president of Stratton Management Co.
Justin A. Sitron, assistant professor in the Human Sexuality Graduate Programs at Widener University, has been elected vice chairman of the board of the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States, a nonprofit organization.
The Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Philadelphia, announced the following board appointments for fiscal 2012:
Richard C. Sheerr was elected to his third term as chairman of Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. He is president of The Wagman Primus Group L.P. and Willings International L.L.C.
Steven Berk, a partner with the law firm Segal, Berk, Gaines & Liss in Philadelphia, was elected to a third term as chairman of Albert Einstein Healthcare Services.
Jane F. Hoffer, CEO of BrainRewards Inc., was elected to a third term as chairwoman of Albert Einstein Physician Services.
Donald Brogan has been elected to Albert Einstein Healthcare Network's board of overseers. He is is a practicing pediatrician and is chairman of Fornance Physician Services, Montgomery Healthcare System's network of primary care and specialty physicians, and will serve as an ex-officio member.
