Glenn S. Gitomer, chairman of the litigation department and shareholder of McCausland, Keen & Buckman, Radnor, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association, a national organization that promotes the interests of public investors in securities and commodities arbitrations.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has appointed Glenn L. Wilson, president and chief executive officer of AmeriServ Financial Inc. and AmeriServ Financial Bank, Johnstown, Pa., to serve a three-year term on the bank's Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.
Nonprofit Technology Resources, a Philadelphia nonprofit that makes communication and information technologies accessible to low-income families and the organizations that serve them, has elected Ken Kramer president of its board. Kramer is a hybrid trainer for technical, dispatch, and care operations for Comcast University.
Ed Cummings, president of Electronic Design Systems, is vice president.
William Finn, a certified public accountant, is treasurer.
Patricia Coyne, a member of the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations, is secretary.

The Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a nonprofit group that raises money for children's hospitals across North America, has elected Brian Fiala to its board. He is executive vice president of human resources at Rite Aid Corp., Camp Hill, Pa.
Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has appointed the following members to its board of trustees: Jerry Block, vice president of BNY Mellon Wealth Management Services; Patrick J. Dugan, director at Asher & Co. Ltd.; David E. Jones, director of the MS Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital; and Mike Spaeder, owner of Mike Spaeder Landscaping.
The Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia, an independent nonprofit group, has appointed Stacey Willits McConnell to its board. McConnell is a partner at Lamb McErlane P.C., West Chester and chairwoman of the firm's estate-planning and trusts department.
Saladax Biomedical Inc., a privately held Bethlehem, Pa., developer of medical-diagnostic products, has elected Edward Chu to chairman of the firm's scientific-advisory board. Chu, chief of the division of hematology/oncology in the department of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is deputy director of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and is coleader of the UPCI molecular-therapeutics and drug-discovery program.
Philadelphia University has named L. Tadd Schwab and Cynthia Hook to its board. Schwab is CEO of LTS Solutions. Hook is senior vice president and general auditor for Comcast Corp.
Waldron Mercy Academy, a Merion Station Catholic, coeducational, private elementary school sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, has named the following trustees to its board: Suzanne Gallagher, vice president of missions services at Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia; Eric N. Hodges, a dentist; Andrew McCloskey, a financial adviser at McCloskey Financial Group; Jeff Mullen, president of Apple Vacations; and Eileen Sizer, a social-work supervisor at Women of Hope.
Greg Baty has been named to the board of the Florida Venture Forum, a group that supports entrepreneurial activities in Tampa. He is vice president of the Philadelphia private-equity investment and advisory firm Hamilton Lane, and is primarily focused on the activities of the firm's Florida Growth Fund. He also spent nine years as a professional football player, finishing his career with the Miami Dolphins.
The American Land Title Association, a national trade organization in Washington, has named Anne L. Anastasi to its board of governors. She is president of Hatboro-based Genesis Abstract L.L.C.
Pennsylvania Trust Co., which provides investment-management, trust-administration, and other services, said Kathleen Putnam was elected to its board. Putnam also will be chairwoman of the governance committee.
The Health Care Improvement Foundation, a Philadelphia nonprofit group, has elected Thomas J. Lewis chairman. He is president and CEO of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Patrick J. Brennan, senior vice president and chief medical officer of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, is vice chairman. Daniel E. Kennedy, retired CEO of Riddle Hospital, is treasurer. As past chairman, Michael B. Laign, president and CEO of Holy Redeemer Health System Inc., remains a board member.
