John K. Fiorillo, a partner and shareholder at Unruh Turner Burke & Frees P.C., has been elected to the board of the Chester County Bar Association.
Fran O'Brien has been elected as a national director of the Navy League of the U.S., a nonprofit civilian volunteer group that supports members of the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine, and their families. She works in community and customer relations at the Delaware River Port Authority.
The Public Relations Society of America Philadelphia Chapter named the following officers to its board: Blair Kahora Cardinal, account supervisor at Buchanan Public Relations, is president; Linda Woody, communications manager at Association Headquarters Inc., is president-elect; Barbara Link, president of Link Ink, is vice president; Emily Watts, account executive at Hornercomm, is treasurer; Juliana Rosati, a freelance communications consultant, is secretary. Directors-at-large include: Debbie Albert, owner of Debbie Albert Communications; Rick Buck, chief communications officer for Bayada Care; Lisa Packer, founding principal of Root Strategies; and Linda Wolohan, public relations manager at the Vanguard Group.

SPIN Inc., a Philadelphia nonprofit organization that provides services to children, families and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism, has elected Kathleen Brown McHale, CEO of the group, board president. Marie T. Leonard, assistant director of recruitment for Temple University School of Health Professions and Social Work, was elected chairperson. The following were named to the board: Kathleen Simone, senior vice president and controller of Nutrisystem Inc.; Sharon Sorkin, adjunct assistant professor of special education at Drexel University; and Andrea Temple, manager/co-owner of a family medical practice in Philadelphia.
Twin Oaks Community Services, Mount Laurel, has named Greg Spewak chairman of its board of trustees. He is a managing partner at Ruotolo, Spewak & Co.
Stradley Ronon attorney Heather Tashman Fritts was appointed to the executive committee of the Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. She is an associate in the firm's litigation and insurance practice groups.
Lynn Doyle, host and executive producer of It's Your Call on the Comcast Network, joined the board of the United Way of Bucks County.
The Fairmount Park Conservancy, the primary private-sector fund-raiser for Fairmount Park, has appointed Gov. Corbett to an ex-officio position on its board of directors.
Totem, a Philadelphia e-commerce company that buys back cellphones and tablets from consumers and corporations, has named Edward McCrossen to its board. He is a former vice president for Cisco Systems and chief operating officer and president of Fiberlink Communications.
The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, a nonprofit national estuary program serving portions of Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, has named the following members to its board: Tom Ei, a remediation team manager at DuPont Co.; Victor J. Giudice Jr., an environmental manager at Mannington Mills Inc.; Douglas Janiec, a senior project scientist at Cardno ENTRIX; Lisa Lindsey, a community-relations manager for PBF Energy Co. L.L.C.

Louis W. Fryman has been re-elected chairman of the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission, an independent state agency responsible for enforcing the Ethics Act as well as investigating and issuing decisions in relation to alleged violations of the Ethics Act by elected officials. Fryman is an attorney at Conrad O'Brien, Philadelphia.
ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, a West Point nonprofit, has elected George R. Gunn to its board. Gunn was CEO of the company from 1995 to 2005.
Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation has named Dave Coskey to its board. Coskey is the president of Longport Media L.L.C. and oversees the operation of News/Talk 1400 WOND, 103.7 WMGM, AC 102.7, KOOL 98.3, and Sportsradio 1490. He also is the former executive vice president of the 76ers.

Sarah Davies has been appointed to the board of managers of Girard College, a Philadelphia boarding school that opened in 1848. Davies is an attorney at Cozen O'Connor and serves as administrative partner for the commercial litigation group.
Matthew Schreck has been elected to the board of trustees of the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, a nonprofit performing-arts group founded in 1874 that performs choral music. Schreck is an oil and gas attorney in private practice.
Julie Simonson and Gregory Michaels have been named to the school committee of Orchard Friends School, Riverton. Simonson is the vice president of research and development for global science and technology at Campbell Soup Co., Camden. Michaels is an assistant branch manager for Beneficial Bank in Burlington Township.
