Hilton Worldwide, McLean, Va., appointed Kevin T. Murnane as general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City on the Avenue of the Arts. Most recently, Murnane was general manager of the 399-room DoubleTree by Hilton New York City-Financial District, which he opened in 2010.

Daleco Resources Corp., a mining and drilling company in West Chester, named Michael D. Parrish chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors. Parrish had been chairman and CEO of Environmental Infrastructure Holdings Corp.
Rajant Corp., a Malvern company that makes wireless mobile-communications networks used by the U.S. military, mining companies, emergency personnel and other customers, hired William King as vice president, oil and gas, and Terry Wason as vice president of business development, oil and gas-Canada. King was business development manager/sales manager, Western Hemisphere, for Hydratight. Watson was business development manager, strategy and alliances, and the international channel manager, CEE, Central and South East Asia, for Smart Technologies, Alberta.
TAGSYS, a King of Prussia provider of radio-frequency-identification systems, named Tony Dublino director of U.S. sales for retail and apparel and Chad Tripp director of field applications engineering. Dublino was director of international sales at Hi-G-Tek. Tripp was associate vice president, lender processing services.

Villanova University named Alfonso Ortega to the newly created position of associate vice president for research and graduate programs. Ortega is the James R. Birle professor of energy technology in the department of mechanical engineering and the associate dean for graduate studies and research in the College of Engineering.
Pennoni Associates, a Philadelphia engineering, design, and consulting firm, hired Joe Viscuso as vice president and office director for the firm's West Chester location. He will also manage the firm's work in the Marcellus Shale industry. Viscuso was vice president and commercial sector lead for Stantec.
