Philadelphia History Museum, a nonprofit educational institution, appointed Alyse Ghee Colen, Howard H. Lewis Jr., and Steven Wittenberg to its board. Ghee Colen is the owner of Hog Valley Estate in Nevis, West Indies. Lewis is a lawyer. Wittenberg is the director of legacy planning for SEI.

The New Jersey Post of the Society of American Military Engineers named Susan Thames second vice president. She is associate director at TTI Environmental Inc., Moorestown.
Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh named Pamela Godwin to its board. She is president of Change Partners Inc., Lambertville.
Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania appointed Greg Osberg to its board. Osberg had been publisher and CEO of Philadelphia Media Network, former owner of The Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News, and Philly.com.
Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, a nonprofit fraternal and charitable corporation founded in 1771, elected the following officers and members to its board:
Francis J. Moran, a trial lawyer with offices in Media, is president.
Bernard J. Buckley, a financial adviser at Janney Montgomery Scott, is vice president.
Rev. Edward E. Brady, pastor of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Philadelphia, is treasurer.
John P. Martin Jr., a financial adviser with Janney Montgomery Scott, is secretary.

James J. Coyne, CEO of Coyne First Aid Inc., Sellersville, and John F. Donovan, chief financial officer at Compass Inc. - Pharmaceutical Marketing, Pennsauken, are directors emeritus.
Archer & Greiner paralegals Nancy L. Merritt and Vivian Luckiewicz have been elected to the board of the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals, a professional association.
Stephen G. Rhoads has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Mill at Anselma Preservation and Educational Trust Inc., Chester Springs. He is a lawyer at Gawthrop Greenwood, West Chester.
Joan N. Stern has been elected to the board of trustees of the American Associates of the Royal Academy Trust, which supports the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Stern is a partner at Blank Rome L.L.P., Philadelphia.
Edna G. Kynett Memorial Foundation Inc., which funds programs focusing on the prevention and cure of cardiovascular disease, has elected Dwayne Wharton to its board. He is director of external affairs for the Food Trust.
College Settlement of Philadelphia, a Horsham provider of summer-camping experiences to economically disadvantaged children, elected the following members to its board:

Philadelphia Academies Inc., a nonprofit youth-development organization that prepares Philadelphia public high school students for employment and post-secondary education, appointed the following officers and members to its board:
Mary Krick, vice president of human resources at Peco Energy Co., is chairperson.
Jeffrey Griffiths, retired CEO of Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc., is vice chair.
New members include Emily Bittenbender, managing partner at Bittenbender Construction L.P.; Neil Kleinman, professor of multimedia and communication and managing senior fellow of the Corzo Center for the Creative Economy at the University of the Arts, and Rosemary Turner, president of UPS Chesapeake District.
