Sandra L. Bodnyk, group executive vice president and chief risk officer, has been promoted to senior executive vice president. She will continue to serve as chief risk officer, with additional responsibility for the operations and information-technology groups.
David B. Kennedy, group executive vice president, general bank, has been promoted to senior executive vice president and chief banking officer. He now directs the bank's six regional presidents, as well as the corporate banking, marketing, and corporate communications functions.
Lewis Cyr has been promoted to president and CEO of National Penn's wealth-management and insurance groups. He had been president of the company's central region.He replaces Donald Worthington, who has retired.

Fisher has been hired as executive vice president at Fox Chase Cancer Center, responsible for overseeing and leading the seven clinical-department chairs at the center, a member of the Temple University Health System and Temple University School of Medicine. Fisher had been vice president for strategic and program development at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he was also Samuel E. Durand professor of medicine.
Duane Morris Government Strategies, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, a government-affairs firm, has hired Patrick Mangus as senior counsel, strategic communications, leading a new nationwide strategic-communications practice. Mangus had been executive director of the National Aviary.
Breast cancer researcher and clinician Massimo Cristofanilli has been appointed director of the Jefferson Breast Care Center at the Kimmel Cancer Center and Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals and deputy director of translational research at the center. Cristofanilli had been chairman of the department of medical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center and head of its Inflammatory Breast Cancer Clinic.
Adminovate, a privately held Philadelphia consulting and software provider for the life, health, and annuity industries, hired Jim Rourke as chief marketing officer and Rich Yeni as chief business development officer. Rourke had been vice president for Oracle Insurance. Yenik was a minority owner and corporate executive at Andesa Services.

Pennsylvania Life Sciences Institute, Wayne, a nonprofit charitable group created by Pennsylvania Bio, hired Dale Keshishian as executive director. Keshishian is the founder of HealthWorks Academies.
Maureen Mackay Nacey has been named a partner and shareholder at the West Chester law firm Gawthrop Greenwood PC. She joined the firm in 2006 in the family-law practice group.
