Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, announced four executive promotions: Rick Stanley, to senior vice president of the West Division from vice president, West Division; Roland Trombley, to senior vice president of its NorthCentral Division from vice president, NorthCentral Division; Kevin Patrick Smith, to senior vice president of Comcast Media 360 from group vice president, Spotlight Integrated Media Sales; and Mary Rooney, to vice president of strategic planning and internal communications from executive director, strategic planning, and internal communications.

Center for Autism, Philadelphia, hired David M. Maola as chief executive officer. Maola had been president and chief executive officer of the Pathway School, Norristown.

Element Partners, a Radnor private-equity firm with stakes in a number of energy companies, has promoted Sam Gabbita to managing director and Charles A. Silio and Nitin Gupta to principal. Gabbita most recently led the firm's investment in Agility Fuel Systems.

Knowles Science Teaching Foundation, a Moorestown nonprofit that awards fellowships to outstanding high school math and science teachers, promoted Nicole Gillespie to executive director. She had been director of Teaching Fellowships, the foundation's signature program, which supports 150 beginning high school science, technology, engineering, and mathematics teachers across 38 states.

Peter Denitz has been named manager-special projects in the Transit and Rail Technical Excellence Center at Parsons Brinckerhoff, a Philadelphia developer and operator of infrastructure. He had been vice president and director of planning for the Northeast region of HNTB.

General Building Contractors Association Inc., Philadelphia, has hired Amy Hennessey as director, membership development and services, and Melissa Wyatt as director, communications and marketing. Hennessey had been marketing manager for the Center City region of Susquehanna Bank; Wyatt had been director of marketing and public relations at Dranoff Properties.

Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C., a Philadelphia global risk and reinsurance specialist and a member of Marsh & McLennan Cos., hired Jim Chambers as senior vice president. He had been vice president of reinsurance at Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co.

Lakash Constructors Inc., Philadelphia, hired Anne Marie Mongelli as project manager. She had been office administrator and assistant project manager at MJ Settelen Construction.

Michael Keating has been hired as senior vice president of special services at Keating Environmental Management Inc., Philadelphia. He had been a project manager at Keating Building Co.

    TD Bank has named Michael N. Mikstas store manager, vice president of a Williamstown branch. He had been a store manager at a branch in Atco.

Lisa R. Moore has been hired by the family-law group of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg as of counsel. She had been head of the family-law practice group at Cooper Levenson, Atlantic City.

Campus Philly, a nonprofit that aims to connect employers with students at area colleges, hired Patrick Sherlock as director of student engagement. Sherlock had been program associate at the William Penn Foundation.

David F. Ertel has been named chief financial officer of Einstein Healthcare Network, Philadelphia. He had been managing director at Morgan Stanley & Co. and head of its national health-care group.

National Penn Bancshares Inc., Boyertown, hired Sylvia Sterling as assistant vice president/branch manager, and Karen Rompolski as assistant manager. Sterling had been assistant vice president/branch manager at PNC bank in Philadelphia; Rompolski previously served as branch manager at TruMark Financial Credit Union in Jenkintown.

  Melissa M. Grossman was hired as of counsel at Hyland Levin L.L.P., Marlton, concentrating her practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and business succession planning. She had been an associate in the Private Client Group at Dechert L.L.P.

Robert S. Davis joined Flaster/Greenberg PC, as shareholder and chair of the PA Real Estate Practice in its Philadelphia office. He had been a partner in the Real Estate Department at Saul Ewing. - Mike Zebe
