Philadelphia, elected the following to its executive board of directors for a three-year term:

a licensed CPA with Mayer Hoffman & McCann P.C. and a senior managing director of the Philadelphia office of CBIZ MHM L.L.C.;

Nicole L. LeVine,

manager of Peco's Operations Control Center;

Beth Galvin,

a principal with Ernst & Young L.L.P. and leader of the firm's international tax transfer pricing practice in Philadelphia;

Susan M. Stevens,

US Airways' director of inflight services; and

Alex Friedman

, founder of Checker Cab Philadelphia and All City Taxi in Philadelphia.

Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, Plymouth Meeting, elected the following officers to its executive board: Jim Kuntz, regional manager at Prudential Home Sales, Lancaster, is president; Mike Finnegan, director of product development for LabWare Holdings Inc., Wilmington, is vice president, travel; John Lennart, director of new product development/insulin delivery for Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Care Franchise, Chesterbrook, is vice president, recreation; and Nicole Posillico Epps, chief financial officer of Spectrum Arena L.P., Philadelphia, is treasurer.

AIM Academy, a private independent school for college-prep students with learning differences in Whitemarsh, elected Francis J. Leto and Brian C. Zwaan to its board of trustees. Leto is an executive vice president of Bryn Mawr Trust, a member of the executive management team, and serves as general counsel for the bank. Zwaan is cofounder of Penn Liberty Bank, where he is president, director, chief operating officer, and chief lending officer.

The Foundation Fighting Blindness, a Columbia nonprofit organization dedicated to sight-saving research, has named Edward G. Babin to its board. He is founder and president of Metropolitan Fire Protection Co. Inc., in Broomall.

Building Industry Association of Philadelphia, a trade group, named the following board members: Ori Feibush, founder and president of OCF Realty; Art Keegan, vice president of business development for Land Services USA Inc., Philadelphia; James Maransky, president of the Envision Group; and Jerry K. Roller, founder and principal of JKR Partners L.L.C.

Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia, elected Valerie Harrison and Alexandra Edsall to its board. Harrison is vice president for legal affairs and general counsel at Arcadia University. Edsall is completing a Masters of City Planning program at Penn Design. She was also a senior adviser at the U.S. Treasury Department and a judicial clerk for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Flaster/Greenberg P.C. shareholder Abbe F. Fletman was named to the Planned Giving Advisory Council of the Free Library of Philadelphia. She is a member of the Intellectual Property and Litigation Departments and co-chair of the Government Relations Practice Group at her firm.

James M. Brower Jr., has been elected president of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants for the 2013-2014 fiscal year. He is a partner specializing in research and tax compliance with G3 of PA L.L.C. in Jenkintown. Other officers include: JoAnn Szupka, an assurance senior manager with BDO USA L.L.P. in Philadelphia, president-elect; Ralph E. Diodata, a manager specializing in automotive dealership and real estate accounting with the Mironov Group in Blue Bell, secretary, and Jacquelyn M. Basso, owner of J.M. Basso & Associates in Downingtown, treasurer.
