Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County hired Cynthia Jaros as director of development. She had been development director at the Brandywine Valley Association.

ACE Group, Philadelphia property and casualty insurer, named Derek Talbott division president, North America property and specialty lines, effective Sept. 1. He is executive vice president, international property, for ACE Overseas General. Talbott succeeds Paul McNamee, who has been named deputy president of ACE's Asia Pacific region.

PNC Financial Services Group Inc., Philadelphia, promoted Denise Viola-Monahan to executive vice president, corporate banking, in Southern New Jersey, Philadelphia, Wilmington, Northeastern Pennsylvania, from senior vice president within PNC's corporate banking group.

Lincoln Financial Group Distribution, Radnor, the wholesale and retail distribution subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group, hired Beth O'Brien as senior vice president and head of finance and strategy for the firm's two leading distribution franchises: Lincoln Financial Distributors and Lincoln Financial Network. O'Brien had been vice president of life product development at Genworth Financial.

Comcast-Spectacor, the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment company, promoted three attorneys in the legal department and named Robert Auritt deputy general counsel. Auritt had been senior counsel for NBC Sports Group as the lead digital media and music attorney since 2009.

Brian Rothenberg has been promoted to vice president and senior deputy general counsel. Rothenberg will continue to serve as the primary legal adviser to Global Spectrum, Ovations Food Services, and Front Row Marketing.

Betsy Brubaker McGill has been promoted to vice president and deputy general counsel. McGill continues to focus on human resources and employment-related matters for all the Comcast-Spectacor companies.

Linsey Levine has been appointed chief compliance counsel, in addition to her responsibilities in supporting the sales and marketing groups.

Jennifer T. Davis has been appointed director of medical assisting at Harcum College, Bryn Mawr. Davis is a registered nurse and a certified breast-feeding counselor.

Continuum Health Alliance, a Marlton-based regional physician-practice management company, has promoted Todd Mallon to chief financial officer, from vice president of finance. The company also promoted Christopher Brandt to vice president of applications, from senior director of applications and William Moser to vice president of human resources, from senior director of human resources. Linda Smith was named director of communication and marketing; she owned a marketing consulting firm in New Jersey.

  National Penn Bancshares Inc., Boyertown, hired Thomas Meyers as vice president and corporate/institutional sales officer for Institutional Advisors L.L.C. He had been vice president in the Capital Markets Group at Coventry Capital in Fort Washington.

Capehart Scatchard, a Mount Laurel law firm, voted Stephen J. Alexander a full equity shareholder. He is a member of the litigation department and a lieutenant colonel in the New Jersey Air National Guard, and holds positions as a state air staff judge and deputy mayor of Upper Freehold Township.

Customers Bank, Wyomissing, hired Andrew J. Herbein as vice president of commercial lending. He held the same post at Harleysville National Corp.

William Bergman has been named special assistant to Temple University president Neil D. Theobald. He had been vice president of operations and business services.
