Kassel in the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division, Camden County Vicinage.

Deacon Industrial Supply Co., Harleysville, named William A. Dunne vice president of sales. He had been regional sales manager at Tyco Flow Control.

Temple University Athletics has named Cecilia Snipes assistant director of equipment and event management. She had been equipment operations coordinator at Arizona State University.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Philadelphia, hired Jesus Esquivel as national director for HIPEC research and national director for global medical tourism. Raman Battish was hired as medical director of gastroenterology for CTCA's Eastern Regional Medical Center. Esquivel had been director of the peritoneal surface malignancies program at St. Agnes Health Care Hospital in Baltimore. Battish formerly worked as an interventional endoscopist at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital, and as a clinical assistant professor at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Jerry Goldner has been named senior vice president and general manager of the Eastern Region and Canada for Saxco International L.L.C., a Horsham provider of packaging products and services to the spirits, wine, beer and food industries. Goldner had been vice president of North American sales and marketing for Owens-Illinois.

James Gallagher has been named director of the financial institutions services group team at Mercadien P.C., Princeton. He had been chief risk/compliance officer at OceanFirst Bank.

DCworks, a Conshohocken integrated brand communications firm, said it has acquired the strategic marketing communications firm ODM Group, founded and led by Jay Osterholm, who joins DDCworks as senior vice president of brand strategy.

Penn Capital Management Co. Inc., Philadelphia, hired Howard Bryerman as a senior research analyst. He had been a managing director at Penn Mutual Insurance and also managed its high-yield bond portfolio.

Wistar Institute, Philadelphia, a nonprofit biomedical-research organization, named Andrew Peabody chief information officer. He had been director of information technology at the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle.

Arcadia University promoted Lorna Stern to vice president, from associate vice president of the university and director of strategic development at the College of Global Studies.

Attorney Megan Knowlton Balne joined Hyland Levin L.L.P., Marlton, as an associate. She had clerked for Jerome B. Simandle, chief U.S. district judge for the District of New Jersey, and for Ronald E. Bookbinder, assignment judge of the New Jersey Superior Court for Burlington County.

Firstrust Bank, Conshohocken, promoted Eric Paul to executive vice president from senior vice president.

The Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations has named Anne L. Gingerich executive director. She had been director of the Nonprofit Resource Network, a program of Millersville University.

Firstrust Financial Resources, a Philadelphia-based wealth-management firm, promoted Paul Markowich to partner, from vice president.

AWeber, a Chalfont e-mail marketing software company, hired Brandon Olson as social-media manager. He had been a public-relations supervisor at the UPS Store Inc.

Joseph Nawa has been named an account executive in the general industry practice of New Day Underwriting Managers L.L.C., Bordentown. Nawa was an A&E underwriting manager at RLI Insurance Co.

HIAS Pennsylvania, a 131-year-old nonprofit group that provides legal and social services for immigrants and refugees, named the following board members: Ed Brant, an attorney at the firm of Fox Rothschild L.L.P.; Vivian Isaak, founder and president of Magnum Group; and Bonnie Squires, a communications and fund-raising consultant and president of Squires Consulting.

The Whitesell Organization, a Delran real estate development and management company, promoted Thomas J. Heitzman to president from executive vice president and chief operating officer.

D. Gary Gilliland has been named the inaugural vice dean and vice president for Precision Medicine, a newly created role at Penn Medicine. He is a cancer genetics expert and pioneer in the development of targeted therapies. He had been senior vice president of Merck Research Laboratories and oncology franchise head.

Hartford Funds, Radnor hired Chris Poe as the company's head of brand and advertising. He had been an independent brand and communications strategist in New York City and the managing director and head of global brand and advertising for BlackRock.

ACE USA, the Philadelphia-based retail operations of the ACE Group, named Teresa Black senior vice president and chief operating officer. She had been senior vice president, distribution management at ACE USA.

Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School hired Bob Fest as the director of the Tiger Woods STEM Learning Laboratory. Fest taught biology and environmental science in the public and parochial school systems of New Jersey for 12 years before joining Cristo Rey Philadelphia.
