The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers, a nonprofit professional association in Exton, has hired Lindsay Johnston as senior vice president, operations. Johnston, who played a leading role in the post-merger transition of Comcast Programming Properties employees to NBCUniversal, has been senior vice president, human resources, for Comcast Programming Properties. Prior to Comcast, she served as deputy general counsel and later as vice president, human resources, with PJM Interconnection.

Pennsylvania Trust, Radnor, has hired Juliana S. Karnavas as senior vice president. Karnavas comes from Glenmede Trust Co., where she was managing director and senior portfolio manager and acted as lead relationship manager for some of Glenmede's complex family and foundation relationships.

Sun National Bank, Mount Laurel, has named Jack R. Allison IV chief operations officer. He had been chief information officer and senior vice president at Customers Bank.

Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack, the Philadelphia automotive after-market service and retail chain, has hired John J. Kelly as senior vice president-chief merchandising officer. He had been president of Decible and vice president of home merchandising at QVC.

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has hired LouAnn Westall as vice president, strategic operations. She had served as associate provost for academic planning at Tufts Medical School.

Citizens Bank has hired Rich McCabe as senior loan officer for the Home Lending Solutions Mid-Atlantic Division in Freehold. He was a senior loan officer with Sun Bank Home Loans.

First Bank, Hamilton, hired Ryan K. Manville as chief operating officer, succeeding Patrick L. Ryan, who was promoted to president and CEO in January. Manville spent 10 years with American Express, serving in a variety of positions.

Tattory has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer, from vice president, finance. Roberts had been vice president, corporate communications, at ViroPharma.
