TD Bank has named Mia M. Levine senior vice president, head of its U.S. Financial Intelligence Unit, based in Mount Laurel. She is responsible for overseeing the bank's financial investigations and enhanced due-diligence program, responsible for the detection, surveillance, and investigation of money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes involving U.S. clients. She had served as deputy special inspector general-reporting in the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, and previously served as chief of staff for the agency.

Paul Shay has been named senior vice president, head of North American credit card and merchant services compliance, in TD Bank's Wilmington office. He had been vice president, enterprise compliance, at Capital One.
