The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce named Rose Siegel, vice president at National Penn Bank, Abington, and Carolyn Hirsh, director of operations at Lindy Communities, Jenkintown, to its board.

Richard L. Scheff, partner and chairman of the Philadelphia law firm Montgomery McCracken, was elected to the board of trustees of Gettysburg College.
Francis J. Leto was elected to the board of trustees of the Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation. Leto is president and CEO of Bryn Mawr Trust Co. and its parent, Bryn Mawr Bank Corp.
Center in the Park, in Philadelphia's Vernon Park section, named Ernest Freeman president. He retired as director of policy, planning, and development for East Orange, N.J.
Other officers include: Reginald Cooper, small-business specialist II, Santander Bank, vice president; Judith A. Mackarey, attorney at Mackarey & Davidson P.C., secretary; and Lowell Thomas, general counsel at Philadelphia Housing Development Corp., treasurer. Maurice John Houston, trust counsel for Reliance Trust Co. of Delaware, was named a board member.
The American Immigration Lawyers Association, Boston, elected William A. Stock, an immigration attorney, first vice president. He is a founding partner of Klasko, Rulon, Stock & Seltzer L.L.P., Philadelphia.
Drinker Biddle Philadelphia partner Alicia Hickok was named a member of the University of Pennsylvania Law School Alumni Society board of managers.
Dan Flamini, director of maintenance for Pennrose Management Co., was named to the board of the New Jersey Apartment Association, a nonprofit group that represents owners, builders, suppliers, developers, and managers of the multifamily-housing industry in New Jersey.
Woodlynde School, a nonprofit independent school on the Main Line, named Maryann O'Conor chair. O'Conor is a recently retired manager of Procter & Gamble. Other officers include: David Hartzell, managing director of investment banking for Oppenheimer & Co., vice chair; Jean Earhart, a member of the parent association board at Academy of Notre Dame de Namur, secretary; and Marc Balcer, social entrepreneur, advancement chair.
Peter Classen, retired executive vice president of regional presidents for PNC Bank, and John Williams, senior vice president of wealth management at UBS Financial Services in Conshohocken, were named board members.
Kristen E. Polovoy, an attorney in the Cherry Hill office of Montgomery McCracken, was reappointed as a member of the Class Actions Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Polovoy is of counsel in Montgomery McCracken's litigation department.
Mount Laurel law firm Capehart Scatchard said shareholder Yasmeen S. Khaleel was sworn in as president of the Estate & Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey.
Hopeworks 'N Camden named Tom McCaully vice chair of the nonprofit's board. McCaully is a founding partner of GrayHair Software Inc. in Mount Laurel.
Spark Therapeutics, a late-stage gene-therapy company in Philadelphia developing treatments for rare, debilitating diseases, has named Lars Ekman, former president of research and development at Elan, and Vin Milano, former president and CEO of ViroPharma, to its board of directors.
TransCelerate BioPharma Inc., a King of Prussia-based nonprofit organization that aims to find quicker, cheaper, and more efficient ways of producing safe medicine, has elected to its board of directors Iris Low-Friedrich, executive vice president of Biopharma Development Solutions and chief medical officer of UCB, and Takuko Yamada-Sawada, senior executive officer, executive general manager of global development, for Shionogi & Co. Ltd.
Scott F. Cooper, chair of Blank Rome's labor and employment group, and Alan M. Cohen, an executive vice president and global head of compliance at Goldman Sachs, have joined Temple University's board of trustees. Cooper joins in his role as president of the Temple University Alumni Association.

Mark A. Dolson, manager of management consulting at KPMG L.L.P. in Philadelphia, was elected to the institute's Professional Ethics Committee.
The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation elected Michael Innocenzo and Marciene Mattleman to its board. Innocenzo is senior vice president and chief operating officer at Peco. Mattleman is an educator, social entrepreneur, and civic leader, and chair of ASAP/After School Activities Partnership.
Montgomery McCracken partner Lathrop B. Nelson III, of the firm's Philadelphia office, has been appointed a member of the Appellate Court Procedural Rules Committee of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Craig Glantz, a financial and registered representative at Devon Financial Partners, has been named president of the Catholic Professionals of Greater Philadelphia.
