Fleisher Art Memorial, Philadelphia, has elected the following board members: Tricia Blair, head of enterprise information technology services at Lincoln Financial Group, Radnor and Philadelphia; Can Carfi, manager/solutions design at Independence Blue Cross, Philadelphia; Barbara Da Costa, a program adviser for Strategic Coach, Toronto; and City Councilman Mark Squilla.

Jordan L. Fischer, a lawyer with Archer & Greiner P.C., has been appointed cochair of the Public Service Task Force of the Women in the Profession Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Fischer practices in the estate and trust litigation group in the firm's Philadelphia and Haddonfield offices.

Community Partnership School, an independent elementary school in North Philadelphia, has appointed Jocelyn Hillman board chair. She also serves as vice chair of the board for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Named board members were Ernestine J. Carter, retired educator and volunteer with Links Inc.; Robert L. Polk, retired United Church of Christ pastor, and Joe Quinones, owner of Citylife Real Estate Brokerage and Consulting.

Michael V. Madden, a partner at Haddonfield law firm Madden & Madden P.A., is chair-elect of the Executive Committee of the Civil Trial Bar Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, has named to its board of trustees Robin Soifer Keyack, assistant vice president, surgical services and clinical informatics, at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, N.J., and James Rivard, senior vice president of support services at Virtua.

Steven J. Engelmyer, a partner in the Philadelphia law firm Kleinbard Bell & Brecker L.L.P., has been appointed to the board of Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia. Engelmyer serves as chair of the firm's litigation department.

Daniel P. McElhatton, a lawyer at McElhatton Foley P.C., Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, has been named chair of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

Carl M. Buchholz has joined the board of Visit Philadelphia, a nonprofit group. He is managing partner of DLA Piper L.L.P. in Philadelphia, and concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation and government relations. Buchholz was cochair of the transition team for Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett and, in 2000 and 2004, was Pennsylvania general counsel for the Bush-Cheney presidential campaigns.

The Montgomery County Estate Planning Council, Spring House, has named the following officers to its board: Susan Deane Hunter, attorney at Reardon & Associates, president; Linda J. Malvern Bancorp Inc., the Paoli holding company for Malvern Federal Savings Bank, has named vice chairman George E. Steinmetz chairman of the board. F. Claire Hughes, who previously served as chair, will continue to serve as a director. Steinmetz is the owner of Matthews Paoli Ford. Board member Therese H. Woodman has been named vice chair. Woodman has been township manager for East Whiteland Township.
