Fleisher Art Memorial, Philadelphia, has elected the following board members: Tricia Blair, head of enterprise information technology services at Lincoln Financial Group, Radnor and Philadelphia; Can Carfi, manager/solutions design at Independence Blue Cross, Philadelphia; Barbara Da Costa, a program adviser for Strategic Coach, Toronto; and City Councilman Mark Squilla.
Jordan L. Fischer, a lawyer with Archer & Greiner P.C., has been appointed cochair of the Public Service Task Force of the Women in the Profession Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Fischer practices in the estate and trust litigation group in the firm's Philadelphia and Haddonfield offices.
Community Partnership School, an independent elementary school in North Philadelphia, has appointed Jocelyn Hillman board chair. Steven J. Engelmyer, a partner in the Philadelphia law firm Kleinbard Bell & Brecker L.L.P., has been appointed to the board of Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia. Engelmyer serves as chair of the firm's litigation department.
Daniel P. McElhatton, a lawyer at McElhatton Foley P.C., Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, has been named chair of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
Carl M. Buchholz has joined the board of Visit Philadelphia, a nonprofit group. He is managing partner of DLA Piper L.L.P. in Philadelphia, and concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation and government relations. Buchholz was cochair of the transition team for Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett and, in 2000 and 2004, was Pennsylvania general counsel for the Bush-Cheney presidential campaigns.
