The Delaware River Marine Trade Association, Philadelphia, has promoted Gina M. Petrille from director of operations to vice president. The group, which promotes the interest of the ports of Delaware, Southern New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania, said this marks the first time a female employee has been made an officer of the organization since it began operations in 1947.

Wistar Institute, Philadelphia, has appointed Heather A. Steinman vice president for business development and executive director, technology transfer. She will lead Wistar's technology commercialization activities, including licensing, start-ups, and collaborative research and development partnerships, and advance its growing pipeline of biomedical research discoveries. Steinman had been director of the Penn Center for Innovation, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Comcast-Spectacor, Philadelphia, has promoted Bryan Furey to senior vice president, front-row marketing services, the division that helps sports teams and facilities acquire naming rights and sponsorships and performs sponsor analytics. He had been regional vice president of front-row marketing services since 2009.

Trinseo, a publicly held Berwyn global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex and rubber, said it has created two new business groups, Performance Materials and Basic Plastics and Feedstocks, and made the following changes to its executive team:

Martin Pugh, senior vice president and business president for Plastics, has been named senior vice president and business president for Performance Materials. He will have responsibility for Rubber, Latex, and Performance Plastics (Automotive and Consumer Essential Markets).

Jeff Denton, vice president, Feedstocks and Corporate Services, has been named vice president for corporate development and business services. In addition to his existing responsibilities for supply chain, information technology, purchasing, customer service, and facilities management, he will add responsibility for corporate development and mergers and acquisitions.

Elemica, an Exton provider of supply-chain operating networks for the process industries, has hired Keith D. Schneck as chief financial officer. He had been executive vice president at eResearch Technology.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission has appointed Bruce Metz director of its Southeast Region Office in Reading. He had been land-management supervisor in the Southeast Region Office.

Jean M. Hadley has been named director of recruitment and professional development at Cherry Hill law firm Flaster/Greenberg P.C. She will be responsible for the firm's attorney-recruitment initiatives, as well as identifying professional-development needs. She had been director of professional development and human resources at Nelson Brown Hamilton & Krekstein L.L.C.

Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation, Pomona, has promoted Olubola Felicia Sode to clinical informatics coordinator, from clinical nurse educator.

Rentokil North America, a global commercial pest control company, has named William Morrow vice president of sales in its Reading office. He had been vice president of sales for Regus.

Grant Thornton L.L.P. has promoted Jim Epperson to audit partner, from audit senior manager, in the firm's Philadelphia office. Candice Polsky has been promoted to state and local tax managing director, from senior manager. Chris Steinhardt has been promoted to Advisory Services managing director, from director.

Katelyn McElmoyl and Andrew Winegar have joined law firm Parker McCay as associates in the municipal and government practice area and the medical malpractice practice area, respectively, in its Mount Laurel office. McElmoyl was an associate attorney for Saponaro & Sitzler in Mount Holly. Winegar clerked for Judge Marc M. Baldwin in the New Jersey Superior Court, Burlington County, Civil Division.

Frances Coady has been named senior vice president of human resources at Day & Zimmermann, a Philadelphia provider of industrial, defense, and workforce services. Coady had been human-resource leader at industrial manufacturer Met-Pro Corp. and senior director, human resources, Merck Manufacturing Division, Merck & Co., Inc.

Jimy Baynum has been hired as marketing director-channel development of the Away from Home Professional Hygiene-U.S. and Canada unit at SCA, a global hygiene and forest-products company with Americas headquarters in Philadelphia. He had been director of sales office channel at Georgia-Pacific.

Archer & Greiner has promoted Tara H. Zane to of counsel, from associate. She works in the firm's estate and trust services department and is also a member of its estate and trust litigation group.

Jennifer Gordon has been appointed assistant dean for research at Temple University School of Medicine. She is currently associate professor in the medical school's department of neuroscience.

Philadelphia public media provider WHYY has named Kevin Yoshioka vice president, data analytics and planning; Art Ellis vice president, communications and member relations, and Bill Dana executive vice president. Yoshioka had served as interim executive director of member relations; Ellis, as executive director of communications and brand management, and Dana, as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Stradley Ronon, Philadelphia, said Joseph E. Donovan, former assistant general counsel at Exelon Corp., has joined the firm as a partner in its Washington office.

Inspira Health Network, Mullica Hill, has named Todd Way executive vice president of operations and Matthew Doonan as in-house general counsel. Way had been senior vice president of regional operations for Valley Health in Winchester, Va. Doonan had served as in-house counsel at CHE Trinity Health.
