The National Constitution Center, Philadelphia, has named David Field, president and CEO of Entercom Communications Corp., and Drew Katz, CEO of Interstate Outdoor Advertising, and founder, the Drew A. Katz Foundation, to its board of trustees.

Michael V. Puppio Jr. has been reelected as regional director for Delaware and Chester Counties to the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors Association. Puppio is the chair of the education and municipal law divisions, and is a founding partner of law firm Raffaele and Puppio L.L.P.

The Philadelphia Bar Association has elected Ira Lefton to its board of governors. He is a partner and chair of the Pro Bono Committee and a member of the Commercial Litigation Group at Reed Smith, Philadelphia.

The National Disease Research Interchange, Philadelphia, elected the following board members: Jim B. Vaught, president-elect of ISBER and former chief of the Biorepositories and Biospecimens Branch of the National Cancer Institutes; Robert Marcantuono, vice president, accounting at the University City Science Center; and Jessica Mulholland, chief financial officer at eXude Inc.

The Alfred and Mary Douty Foundation, a Philadelphia nonprofit that seeks to foster opportunities for children and youth, has named Ludy Soderman and Peter Gonzalez to its board. Soderman is director of the Multilingual Family Support Office with the School District of Philadelphia. Gonzalez is president and CEO of the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians.

Joseph J. McGrory Jr., chairman of the municipal law department at Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin P.C., Lansdale, has been elected to the board of the Home Builders Association of Berks County.

Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, has appointed Steve Hutton and Thomas K. Whitford to its board of trustees. Hutton is president and CEO of Star Roses & Plants. Whitford retired as vice chairman of PNC Financial Services Corp.

James Hickey has been elected president of the Association of Government Relations Professionals (formerly known as the American League of Lobbyist). He is vice president of government affairs at Day & Zimmermann, a family-owned Philadelphia provider of construction & engineering, staffing and defense service for corporations and governments.

The PDE, a Philadelphia-based pharmaceutical trade association founded in 1861, has elected the following officers and directors to its board: Fred Lutz, director of sales at Constantia Flexibles, is president; Bob Cashman, vice president of business development at Oso Bio, is vice president, Teddy Frain, vice president, sales at Unipak, is treasurer; Bruce Hepke, president of Eagle Pharma Solutions, is secretary and administration manager; JM Hasson, president of HPT Pharma, is a director, Victor Dixon, president and chief operating officer at Rondo-Pak, is a director; and Michael Cunnane, director of supply management at Teva Pharma, is a director.

Christian Westring, director of criminalistics and quality manager at NMS Labs in Willow Grove, has been appointed to serve on the DNA Analysis subcommittee under the Biology/DNA Scientific Area Committee of the U.S. Commerce Department's National Institute of Standards and Technology. He also is an adjunct professor in forensic genetics at Arcadia University.

Robert Brzenchek, assistant professor of criminal justice studies at Peirce College, was named to the Philadelphia Crime Prevention Council. The council is a group of more than 260 federal, state and local law enforcement officials and corporate security professionals who are brought together by the Center City District.

Jeffrey Rapattoni, a shareholder in the Cherry Hill office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, was elected to the board of the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators.
