Amit J. Shah was named a partner at Martin Law. Shah, who focuses his practice exclusively on Pennsylvania workers' compensation law, had been an associate with a boutique defense firm handling workers' compensation litigation. He had been a litigating attorney.

Anthony Lee joined HNTB Corp. as the Northeast Division planning practice leader in the firm's transit and rail practice in Philadelphia. He had been manager, planning and environmental, for Systra Consulting in New York City.

Cape Bancorp Inc., parent company of Cape Bank, Cape May Court House, hired Arthur M. Birenbaum as executive vice president and regional commercial-lending officer. He had been executive vice president of commercial lending for Bancorp.

Lauletta Birnbaum L.L.C., Sewell, named George W. Matteo Jr. a partner. He is the former chairman, CEO, and president of Cornerstone Bank.

Holden was senior account manager at Covidien. McNee worked as a registered nurse for many years and was quality-performance director with ACTS Retirement-Life Communities.

Penn National Gaming Inc., Wyomissing, hired Chris Sheffield as senior vice president managing director, I-Gaming, a new position at the gaming company. He had been managing director, digital, at Betfred, a United Kingdom bookmaker.

Attorney Teresa Ficken Sachs joined Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, Philadelphia, as a shareholder and vice chair of the firm's appellate advocacy and post-trial practice group. She was a principal in the appellate department at Post & Schell in Philadelphia.
