Wistar Institute, Philadelphia, a nonprofit biomedical-research institute with special expertise in cancer research and vaccine development, has named George W. Gephart Jr. to its board. Gephart is president and CEO of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel L.L.P. partner Stephanie Winegrad has been elected vice chair of the Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section for 2015.

David Deitz has joined MedRisk in King of Prussia, a provider of physical-rehabilitation and diagnostic-imaging programs for the workers' compensation industry, as medical adviser and a member of its International Scientific Advisory Board. Most recently, he was national medical director of commercial insurance claims for Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Susan Story has been named to the board of the Alliance to Save Energy, a nonprofit that promotes energy efficiency to achieve a healthier economy, cleaner environment, and greater energy security. She is president and CEO of the water and wastewater utility company American Water in Voorhees.

Grace M. Deon has been chosen president-elect of the Bucks County Bar Association, a two-year obligation in which the candidate serves as president of the group during the second year of the term. Deon is a shareholder and member of the management committee at Eastburn & Gray P.C., Doylestown.

Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, an independent affiliate of Rebuilding Together Inc., a national nonprofit that provides critical home repairs, modifications, and improvements for low-income homeowners, has named Peter D. Hardy president of its board. He is principal in the internal investigations and white-collar defense practice group at Post & Schell, Philadelphia.

Robert D. Rosenberg and Thomas H. Patterson have been elected to the board of managers at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. Rosenberg is managing director and private banker for the ultra high-net-worth market at Citi Private Bank, in Delaware, Philadelphia, and Conshohocken. Patterson works as a consultant on accounting and human-resource matters for EarthRes Group Inc. in Pipersville.

BioNJ, a Trenton network representing research-based life-sciences companies and other contributors, has elected Stuart Peltz, CEO of PTC Therapeutics, chairman. Mohamed H. Ragab, vice president, search and evaluation, oncology and business development at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., and Paul Chew, senior vice president, group chief medical officer and head of the North American R&D hub for Sanofi, were named trustees.

Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue, a Horsham nonprofit, has elected the following board members: Meredith Botnick, an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy; Judy Flaks, substitute teacher at STS Inc., intake committee cochair and foster committee; and Christina Herrmann, an attorney at Mayers, Mennies & Sherr L.L.P., member, photography committee.
