The New Hope Historical Society has elected Carole Oberholtzer Martin president. She had been a sales engineer in the building controls and automation industry for 20 years. She has served on the board of the Valley Forge Historical Society.

Other officers include Edwin Hild, cofounder and owner of Olde Hope Antiques Inc., New Hope, vice president, and Chuck Mintzer, member of the Friends of the Delaware Canal and Solebury Township Historical Society, treasurer.

New members are Mary Ellen Mason, co-owner of the Lambertville House, Lambertville; Claire Shaw, periodontist and owner of Doylestown Periodontics, Doylestown; Bryce Sanders, president, of Perceptive Business Solutions. Inc.; Kevin Joy, owner of Joy Productions Inc.; and David Martin, senior consultant at Connor Partners Inc.

Mercy Neighborhood Ministries of Philadelphia Inc. has named the following board members: Kelley B. Hodge, safe schools advocate for the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency; Robert Graham, managing director, Management Company of Penn Venture Partners L.P.; and Charles Imbesi, associate at Patriarch Management. Mercy Neighborhood provides child care, adult care, and adult education to the North Philadelphia community.

Stradley Ronon government and public affairs chair John R. Saler, has been appointed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Corporate Council.

The following trustees were appointed to the Moorestown Friends School Committee: Emily Lustig Orel, who worked in marketing and public relations for the 92d Street Y in Manhattan; Andrew Searle Pang, principal of Andrew Searle Fund Raising Counsel in Groton, Mass.; and Elizabeth Whitney Ransome, founding director of the James Center for Public Purpose at Garrison Forest School.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia named Morey H. Goldberg and Marjorie Honickman to its board. Goldberg is founder and CEO of Rose Glen Advisors L.L.C. and Honickman is involved in the philanthropic community; she serves on the Overseers Board of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The Starfinder Foundation has named Heike Sullivan and Paul Mongillo to its board. Sullivan is a partner at Ballard Spahr and Mongillo is product manager, oncology marketing, at Janssen Biotech. The nonprofit offers soccer, educational, and personal-development programs to inspire young people from underserved communities.
