The apparel retailer Burlington Stores Inc., Burlington, has appointed Mary Ann Tocio to its board. She is retired as president and chief operating officer of Bright Horizons Family Solutions Inc. after 23 years with the company.

The SeniorLAW Center, a Philadelphia nonprofit public-interest law organization that protects the legal rights of older Pennsylvanians through free legal representation, education, and advocacy, has elected the following board members: Judith A. Franciotti, founder and co-owner of Senior Feelin' Fit L.L.C., which specializes in at-home fitness training for seniors in southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia suburbs; Roberta Jacobs-Meadway, a member of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellot and co-chair of the law firm's intellectual-property practice group; Christian E. Piccolo, an associate in the Philadelphia office of Drinker Biddle & Reath; Michael R. Peterson, senior vice president, Capmark Bank; Christopher M. Otten, founder of FFG Nonprofit Benefits Group; and Deanna M. Jenkins, a business analyst in the risk-analytics department at Independence Blue Cross.

The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine has named Caroline Fribourg Rosen to its board of overseers. She is founder of Your Child in Focus, an educational consulting company.
