The Community Design Collaborative, a Philadelphia provider of pro bono design services to nonprofit organizations in greater Philadelphia, has named Julie Bush, Kevin Gray, and Carol Horne Penn to its board. Bush is a registered landscape architect and vice president of Ground Reconsidered, Gray is director of real estate development for New Kensington Community Development Corp., and Penn is a vice president with Clemens Construction Co.

Elise Vider has been named the new chair of the steering committee of the Design Advocacy Group, succeeding architect Kiki Bolender. Vider is a writer, editor, and principal of Elise Vider Editorial Services.

Montgomery McCracken partner Mark B. Sheppard has been appointed by Gov. Wolf to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing. Sheppard serves as cochair of the firm's white-collar and government-investigations practice group and is a member of the executive committee.       The commission is charged with formulating guidelines that promote fairer and more uniform sentencing throughout the commonwealth.

Thomas L. Ott, owner and president of Industrial Energy Programs Co., L.L.C., in Swedesboro, has joined the board of trustees of Williamson College of the Trades in Media.

Deborah Hong has been elected to the Main Line Chamber of Commerce. She is a partner at Stradley Ronon, Philadelphia.

Woodlynde School, for students in grades K-12 with learning differences, has named Andrew Gerardi, vice president and co-owner of C.H. Schwertner & Son and Tracy Reller, who is actively involved with the school, to its board.

Andrea Woodring, a supply division chief, industrial hardware, at the Defense Logistic Support Activity facility in Northeast Philadelphia, has been elected president of the Southampton Free Library. Other officers include: Ray Greenberg, founder and president of Financial Expertise, Feasterville, vice president; Darlene Starr, assistant vice president of banking at Beneficial Bank, Warminster, treasurer; and Peter Lawton, retired public relations executive, secretary.

Board members include: Debbie Silver, retired program coordinator for the homeless for the Bucks County community development office, Doylestown, and Mary Rogers, program manager for internships at Arcadia University, Glenside. - Mike Zebe
