Business People on the Move: Paper giant SCA names president of unit

SCA, the Swedish paper giant whose Americas arm, based in Philadelphia, makes napkins and other supplies for Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, NFL stadiums, and hundreds of other institutional, janitorial, and food-service clients, has named Don Lewis president of the company's Away From Home Professional Hygiene Business Unit. He had been president of SCA Americas since 2012, overseeing all its businesses in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America.

Klasko Immigration Law Partners L.L.P., Philadelphia has elected attorney Anusree Nair to the firm's partnership. Nair is head of the investor division of the firm's EB-5 Practice.

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, a Reading community-arts center that features six large teaching studios in ceramics, hot and warm glass, metalworking, photography, and woodworking, has hired Levi Landis as executive director. Landis, a nonprofit administrator and artist, had been director of business operations at the Center for Art in Wood in Philadelphia and executive director of the Philadelphia Folksong Society, which operates the Philadelphia Folk Festival.

Linda Berger has been hired as general manager for the Center City facility of American Executive Centers, Plymouth Meeting. She had been Mid-Atlantic leasing representative for Brixmor Property Group.

Robert J. Franzoi has been hired as vice president of health-care delivery at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, in Newark. He had been Northeast Region head of network and medical economics for Aetna.

Scilex Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Malvern company engaged in the development and commercialization of products focused on the treatment of pain, has hired Kalpana Patel as senior director of medical affairs and Christine Rosser as senior director of regulatory affairs. Patel had been senior director, national team lead, medical science liaison, medical affairs at Depomed Inc., and senior director, team lead, medical affairs at Pfizer Inc. Rosser had been director of U.S. regulatory advertising and promotion at Pfizer, promotional regulatory affairs director at Endo, and director of regulatory affairs at the since-acquired Auxilium Pharmaceuticals. Damon Burrows has been named Scilex vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary. He had been vice president, associate general counsel, at Allergan Inc.

John I. Frederick, has joined the tax-accounting group at Duane Morris L.L.P., Philadelphia, as a tax specialist. Frederick previously maintained his own law practice, focusing on small-business formation and structure and individual income-tax planning and compliance.

Mannion Prior L.L.P., King of Prussia, has opened a new office in Doylestown that will be led by attorneys Karl Prior and Obadiah English. The firm focuses its practice in the Orphans Court divisions of the Courts of Common Pleas across Pennsylvania.

GeoBlue has named Guillaume Deybach president and CEO for parent company Highway to Health Inc. He had been group executive vice president-Travel Business Line of the Europ Assistance Group. GeoBlue is the trade name for the international health insurance programs of Worldwide Insurance Services, an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association in Radnor.

Royal DSM, Exton, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition, and materials, has named Eric Teutsch president of DSM Biomedical. He had been vice president and general manager of orthobiologics division at Stryker.

MNG Direct, a Bensalem company that recently acquired Insignia Capital Group, has named Stephen Wray CEO. He had been CEO and president of Cadient, a Cognizant company.

Matthew R. Altomare has joined Blank Rome L.L.P.'s Philadelphia office as an associate in the firm's corporate, M&A, and securities group. Altomare had been an associate at Campbell Rocco Law L.L.C..

McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter L.L.P., Morristown, N.J., has promoted Matthew A. Lipman from of counsel to partner and Yvette N. Bradley from associate to of counsel in the firm's Philadelphia office.
