Bancroft buys Independence Rehab
Bancroft, a Cherry Hill provider of services for people with intellectual and neurological disabilities, acquired Independence Rehab, also of Cherry Hill, from its owner, Joan Roush, Bancroft said Monday.

The price was not disclosed.
Roush is now a senior vice president in Bancroft's NeuroRehab division, and Independence Rehab's 25 clinicians, nurse case managers, and practice management staff have become employees of Bancroft.
Bancroft NeuroRehab employed 290 before the acquisition. A Bancroft spokeswoman said the tax-exempt organization expects to have $140 million in revenue in the fiscal year ending June 30.
