JAMS, a worldwide private provider of mediation and arbitration services, has named of Gregory P. Miller to its panel. Miller will be based in the JAMS Philadelphia Resolution Center and will serve as a mediator, arbitrator, and special master in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Class Action/Mass Tort, Health Care, Insurance, and Securities. He had been a founding member of the Academy of Court Appointed Masters. Miller entered into private practice in 1984 after almost a decade of public service, first as an officer in the United States Navy, Judge Advocate General's Corp., and later as a federal prosecutor of the United States Attorney's Office in Philadelphia.

Villanova University has appointed Mark C. Alexander the Arthur J. Kania Dean of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. A scholar and teacher specializing in constitutional law and the intersection of law and politics, he had been associate dean for Academics and Professor at Seton Hall University's School of Law.

Meridian Bank, Malvern, has hired Tim Merrell as senior vice president of payments. He will also work closely with the cash management and government banking groups. He had been senior vice president with Penn Liberty Bank (now WSFS).

CardConnect, a King of Prussia payments technology company, has hired Abe Marciano as chief information officer. He had been head of global operations at Braintree, a PayPal company.

Meg Onli has been named assistant curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania. Onli is a curator and writer who had been program coordinator at the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts.

Karen Krumeich has been hired as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Soligenix Inc., a Princeton company focused on developing and commercializing products to treat rare diseases. Krumeich has served as a consultant providing finance, investor relations, and business development services to Soligenix and other health-care companies.

The newly renovated Hyatt at the Bellevue in Philadelphia has hired Ned Maddock as chef de cuisine. With over a decade in the business, he had been executive sous chef of Lo Spiedo restaurant in Philadelphia.

Mae Prestera has been named chief financial officer at Philadelphia law firm Ballard Spahr L.L.P. Prestera joined Ballard Spahr in 1997 as controller and left in 2005 to start and manage a family-owned consulting business before returning to the firm as a consultant.

J. Todd Kuenstner has been appointed medical director of Clinical Laboratories at Temple University Hospital, and chief of Clinical Pathology and associate professor of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

Kuenstner had been a clinical assistant professor at the West Virginia University School of Medicine and early in his career worked as a staff pathologist with the U.S. Army at the Frankfurt Army Regional Medical Center in Frankfurt, Germany. There he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for conducting autopsies on victims of the attack on the USS Stark.

Jessica Breslow has been named director, IT and marketing at PJW Restaurant Group, a Haddon company that operates 18 restaurants in Southeast Pennsylvania and South Jersey. She had been associate vice president of IT at Aramark.

AmeriQuest Business Services, Cherry Hill, provider of financial process automation, procurement, and asset-management services, has hired Patrick Barrett as vice president of financial services. He had been vice president of sales for the Northeast Region of Estenson Logistics.

Aqua America Inc, a Bryn Mawr-based publicly traded water utility, has hired Christopher S. Crockett as chief environmental officer. He had been deputy commissioner for planning and environmental services at the Philadelphia Water Department since 1995.

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Philadelphia, has hired Richard L. Fox firm as a shareholder in its tax section in Philadelphia. Fox had been a tax partner at Dilworth Paxon L.L.P.

Jennifer Neglia has been promoted to partner in risk assurance at PWC, Philadelphia, from director in risk assurance. Also, Harshad Pitkar has joined the firm as an assurance partner. He had been lead Director for Ernst & Young's FS Risk/Compliance technology practice.

Reed Smith L.L.P. has added James E. DelBello and Matthew J. Siembieda as partner and counsel, respectively, in the firm's complex litigation group in Philadelphia. DelBello had been head of business law and compliance and senior vice president at Lincoln National Corp. Siembieda practiced at Morgan Lewis.

ALM, an information and intelligence company based in New York, said that Hank Grezlak, regional editor-in-chief for the Northeast in Philadelphia, has expanded his oversight of all regional brands including the New York Law Journal, The Recorder, Texas Lawyer, Daily Report, and the Daily Business Review.

Alvin Clay Financial Advisors L.L.C., Jenkintown, has hired Michael J. Keenan as a senior adviser. He had been an adjunct faculty member in the MBA Program, DeSales University, and a    financial services professional, First Financial Group. Former Montour County District Attorney Rebecca L. Warren joined the law firm of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel L.L.P. as a partner in the firm's litigation department in its Harrisburg office. Most recently, Warren was a candidate in the Republican Primary for Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. From 2002 - 2011, Warren had her own law firm in Danville, Pa.
