Reliant Renal Care Inc., a multistate provider of dialysis services based in Media, has named Carl Motz CEO, while Reliant founder and CEO Barbara Bednar becomes the chairman of the Reliant Renal Care board. Motz had been chief financial officer. Also, Tara Gleason has been promoted to vice president of finance.

Motz had been chief financial officer. Also, Tara Gleason has been promoted to vice president of finance.

 Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, a Catholic college-preparatory girls high school, has appointed Denise Corkery Marbach its first-ever president, effective July 1. The school is adopting a president-principal leadership model where executive duties are divided between two administrators. Marbach, the school's first-ever lay leader, retired as a partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She had been past board chair.

Kimberly Joyce has been promoted to vice president of regulatory, legislative, and external affairs at Aqua America Inc., a Bryn Mawr water utility. She had been regulatory counsel and director of public and legislative affairs.

International Products Corp., a Burlington chemical manufacturer of specialty cleaners and temporary rubber assembly lubricants, has hired William F. Herbert as chief financial officer. He had been CFO of corporate stores for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Jersey City, N.J.

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Philadelphia, has hired two executives for its Real Estate Investment Banking Group. David Doyle will serve as head of the group and Rachel Jennings as a managing director. Doyle had been head of real estate investment banking at Wunderlich Securities. Jennings had been senior vice president at Wunderlich.

The Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America, Wayne, has hired Felicia R. Phillips as the nonprofit's director of marketing communications. She had been director of corporate communications for Health Partners Plans.

South Jersey Industries, Folsom, N.J., which operates subsidiary South Jersey Gas, has promoted Nick Anglani from general manager to director, utility service and dispatch, Tom Harrell from general manager to director, distribution operations, and Brent Schomber from general manager to director, contract construction.

StoneMor Partners L.P., a Trevose owner and operator of cemeteries and funeral homes, has hired Dina S. Kelly as national vice president of sales. She had been senior vice president, sales and marketing, at Senior Lifestyle Corp., Chicago.

Jeswant Gill has been named president of the worldwide Harsco Rail business unit, part of Harsco Corp., Camp Hill, Pa. He had been executive vice president at Kennametal's $1.3 billion industrial segment.

Widener University has named professor Iva Johnson Ferrell to serve as the university's chief diversity officer. Ferrell is an associate legal methods professor at Widener University Delaware Law School.

New Freedom Theatre, Pennsylvania's oldest African American theater, has appointed Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj as its new artistic director. Maharaj, who had served as guest artistic director last season, is only the fourth full-time artistic director in the company's 50-year history, following founder John E. Allen, Jr., Robert E. Leslie, and Walter Dallas.

Dawson "Rich" Muth has joined Lamb McErlane PC, West Chester, as a partner. He had been a partner at Goldberg & Muth.

Fearless Restaurants has hired Jaimi Gordon Blackburn as director of public relations. She had been adjunct professor in the School of Media and Communication at Temple University. Fearless Restaurants include the Moshulu on Penn's Landing; White Dog Cafe in University City, Wayne, and Haverford; Autograph Brasserie in Wayne; and, on Long Beach Island, Plantation Restaurant, Daddy O Restaurant & Hotel, and Tuckers Tavern.

Crissy M. Kelly has been promoted to vice president, market manager, at WSFS Financial Corp., parent company of WSFS Bank. She had been assistant vice president and retail office manager. Also, Marc A. Matz has been promoted to vice president, market manager, from retail office manager. Brian C. Zwaan, former president, chief operating officer, and chief lending officer of Penn Liberty Bank has assumed the role of senior vice president, Pennsylvania commercial banking.

Heidrick & Struggles, a Chicago and Philadelphia executive recruiter, has education and nonprofit expertise with the addition of J.J. Cutler and Jackie Zavitz as principals in the firm's Philadelphia office.

Fox Rothschild LLP has hired Craig R. Tractenberg, a litigator who focuses on franchise companies' development and expansion, firm's Philadelphia and New York offices as a partner in the litigation department. Tractenberg had been chair of the franchise and distribution team and global disputes team at Nixon Peabody LLP.

Rachel Stengel has been hired as marketing specialist for clinical operations at Salus University, Elkins Park. She had been marketing communications coordinator for Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano.

Cozen O'Connor, Philadelphia, has named Laura B. Sorscher a member of its national Real Estate practice. She had been a partner at Baer Crossey McDemus.

Univest Insurance, a subsidiary of Univest Bank and Trust Co., Souderton, has appointed Ryan M. Barbacane to senior vice president and commercial lines sales manager. He had been assistant vice president for the global professional services firm Marsh, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Cos.

Scribewise, a Philadelphia-based content-first digital agency, has hired Bill Conn as brand journalist and content marketing strategist. He has held positions in brand management and content marketing for Toolbox.com, Proscape, and PeopleLinx.

Parke Bank, Sewell, has hired Bob Dalton as assistant branch manager for its newly opened Collingswood branch.

Philadelphia-based LUX Products has hired Rick Schreib as director of sales. He had owned his own consulting practice where he focused on the HVAC industry. Also, Jody De Vine was promoted to director of marketing and Alex Bender to marketing manager.

MaassMedia, a Philadelphia digital analytics agency, has hired Phil Kemelor as vice president of client services. Most recently, Kemelor led strategic client digital transformation programs at Semphonic and Ernst & Young.

Ahmer H. Sheriff has joined the Blue Bell firm Wisler Pearlstine LLP as an associate in the firm's Education Law practice group. Sheriff practiced as an attorney with Weitz & Luxenberg P.C. in Cherry Hill and worked in the anti-money-laundering and counterterrorism financing investigations department of HSBC Bank USA, and the fraud investigation and dispute services of Ernst & Young LLP.

Wohlsen Construction Co., a Lancaster-based construction firms founded in 1890, has named hired Angela P. Drayer as controller. She has 15-years of experience in professional services and the construction industry. She had been vice president, corporate controller at Innovative Building Systems, LLC.

Energy company Public Service Enterprise Group, Newark, has hired Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) chief of staff Larry Gasteiger as chief, federal regulatory policy. He spent 18-years with FERC where he also served as  acting director of the Office of Enforcement from August 2014 to April 2015 and deputy director from 2009 to 2014.

Target Media, Harrisburg, has named Sosa Rossell to the newly created position of assistant vice president, strategic sales and Brian Kiskis as assistant vice president, digital media and strategy. Rossell had been a district sales manager for YP.COM, formerly AT&T Advertising Solutions. Kiskis had been vice president of media operations for Refuel Agency.

Landmark Hospitality, Whitehouse Station, has hired Chef Christopher Albrecht as executive chef of the Ryland Inn. Albrecht, who studied under James Beard Award winners Claudia Flemming and Tom Colicchio,  For more than 20-years, he has worked in restaurants in Manhattan, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and New Jersey.

 Carmell Therapeutics, a Pittsburg biosurgical technology company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative plasma-based bioactive materials, has hired the following executives: Donna Godward, chief quality officer, who spent most of her career at J&J before retiring as a chief quality officer for J&J's Medical Device and Diagnostic business; Stephanie Kladakis, vice president of research and development, who most recently held the same post at Cohera Medical; and  Janet Vargo, vice president of clinical sciences , who most recently worked at Mentor, LLC (J&J) as head of clinical development and regulatory affairs.

Also, the company elected David Anderson to its board. He is president and CEO of Orteq Sports Medicine. Anderson has over 20 years experience as a senior executive in the orthobiologics field.

 John Wiley & Sons, Inc., a Hoboken global provider of online scientific, technical, medical, and scholarly journals, has hired Judy Verses as executive vice president, research. With over 30-years experience across business, government, and consumer sectors in the technology, education, and communications industries, she had been president, global enterprise & education at Rosetta Stone, a online language learning and literacy company. Previously, she had been president and chief client officer at Blackboard.

BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank, New York, has named chief digital officer, Dan Armstrong, and chief technology officer, Kirk Barrett, managing directors. They will continue to lead BankMobile Labs, which houses BankMobile's tech development team and direct efforts to build BankMobile 2.0, expected to be released in December 2016. Prior to BankMobile, Armstrong launched mobile banking and payments in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. Barrett had been co-founder of Nolinio, Inc., a tech start-up that created Wingman and was also chief digital officer of Clipper Magazine, a subsidiary of Gannett Company Inc.

Jack Lee has been hired as president of Red Lion Controls, a York provider of communication, monitoring and control for industrial automation and networking. Lee succeeds Mike Granby, who served as president of Red Lion for seventeen year. Lee had been senior vice president and managing director of the Surface Equipment and Automation business group for Dover Corp.

Alfred Bergbauer has been named vice president and head of multinational underwriting at The Hartford, a provider of property and casualty insurance, group benefits and mutual funds. Bergbauer has held multinational and international casualty leadership roles with XL Catlin, Marsh USA, Inc., and ACE USA. He has over 30-years of executive, risk management and underwriting experience in international property and casualty insurance in the U.S., Hong Kong, the Philippines and the People's Republic of China.

Investors Bancorp, Inc., Short Hills, the holding company for Investors Bank, has hired Daniel F. Dougherty as senior vice president and treasurer for both entities. He had been senior vice president and treasurer Astoria Bank and senior vice president and assistant treasurer at Israel Discount Bank of New York.
