A street fight in the city's Kensington section turned deadly late Friday, leaving one person dead and another wounded, police said.
A street fight in the city's Kensington section turned deadly late Friday, leaving one person dead and another wounded, police said.
An 18-year-old-man was shot once in the chest on the 200 block of E. Stella Street and was taken by car to Episcopal Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:16 p.m.
A second shooting victim, with a gunshot wound to the leg, also was taken Episcopal, but later transferred to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police said the two men were involved in a fight with another group when an as yet unidentified male pulled out a gun and began shooting. Police did not release the names of the victims.
