A developer plans to turn the site of a former Giant supermarket in Levittown, Bucks County into a new strip shopping center with a fitness center and discount retailer.

Levittown Partners, LLC, recently purchased the New Falls Road site from Levittown – ARC, LP, according to a press release issued by the broker of the deal, the Bala Cynwyd-based Soloff Realty & Development.

The site, which includes the 40,000 square foot Giant building and surrounding 4.6 acres just off Route 413, will be anchored by a Retro Fitness and a Dollar Tree with two more smaller tenants yet to be named. The site has parking for 197 cars.

Retro Fitness, a chain with 110 locations, has signed a 10 year lease for its portion, which will take up 13,000 square feet. Dollar Tree, with 4,900 stores, also signed a 10 year lease for 12,000 square feet of space.
