Today, Nokia's CEO is correct - Seeking Alpha

Like the weather, Wall Street's view of Nokia CEO Stephen Elop changes almost daily. One day, he is tagged as the man who will put Nokia out of business. The next, he's the best thing since sliced bread.

Today, Seeking Alpha argues that Stephen Elop made the right move in killing off Symbian, the operating system that traced its roots back to Psion, a British maker of handheld computers. Seeking Alpha says the Symbian platform was outdated and therefore had no future and had too many versions that made it difficult for third-party developers to support.

This comes on the same day that Wall St. Cheat Sheet says Nokia might have the killer app for all smartphone users, including Apple's iPhone. It's a cloud-based mapping solution called "Here."

Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal says Nokia dropped to seventh place in the smartphone market.
