WPCS acquires electrical contractor

WPCS International Inc., Exton, said today it has agreed to acquire Voacolo Electric Inc., an electrical contractor, for $2.5 million in cash and stock.

The wireless engineering company said it will make an additional earn out payment to Voacolo on meeting certain earnings targets over a 12-month period from the closing date.

Voacolo, based in Trenton, is expanding into wireless video surveillance. The deal is expected to close in 60 days.
