Unisys completes sale of media unit
Unisys Corp., of Blue Bell, said today it has completed the sale of its media-business unit, including the Hermes system used in the struggling newspaper business, to Britain-based Atex Group Ltd.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Unisys, which sells computer servers and consulting services, said the sale was part of a plan to divest businesses it did not consider part of its central strategy.
The media unit develops software to automate news production. Atex sells a rival newspaper publishing system.
Unisys shares were down 4 cents on the New York Stock Exchange at $8.24 at noon.
