Wilmington Trust Corp. today said it had expanded its business that helps companies maintain legal standing in jurisdictions, such as Delaware and Nevada, that have favorable laws for established corporations.

The Wilmington company purchased an eight-person firm in Luxembourg, increasing its corporate client services presence in Europe to 30 people.
The price Wilmington Trust paid for Amaco (Luxembourg) S.A. was not disclosed.
Wilmington Trust said it anticipated that the the acquisition would have no effect on 2007 earnings.
Share in Wilmington Trust were down 47 cents, or about 1 percent, to $42.55 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
